  1. Just received the following email from Ford

    Quote

Thank you again for your Super Duty F-350 Limited order. We wanted to let you know that we are still up against supply chain challenges, which are causing delays with getting your vehicle into production. While we understand how frustrated you may be (we are too), rest assured, our team is working diligently and aggressively to get you behind the wheel.

We know how much anticipation there is when it comes to getting a new Ford, so we will continue to keep you updated. In the meantime, we apologize for any inconvenience and remain grateful for your patience and understanding.

502 days since order confirmation....not yet even put into production.

Also why I am still getting order updates on a '22???

  2. I just received the following email from Ford on my '22 order

2023 order banks are closed and I thought they had the schedule full for the remainder of the year. The really frustrating part is I haven't once heard from my dealer on this. Order was placed 457 days ago....

It is absolutely insane that neither my dealer nor Ford made any attempt to let me know..."Hey, you may want to order a '23 because the order banks close on 11/16 and you might not get your '22".

My rep at Granger said they should receive a list of soon to be cancelled VINs if any of their customers are affected. It sure sounds like scheduled orders are in danger of getting axed, like IC said.

My understanding is that orders cancelled after receiving a VIN get higher priority when converted to MY 2023. We should be going straight to priority 01/02 if the nightmare continues into the new year. The messier question is what happens to pricing on a re-order.

Well that sucks. I had a confirmed order 436 days ago and nothing.

By your statement someone who ordered after me and has a VIN would have higher priority than me?? F that

  4. It has been 412 days since my order was confirmed and I received the following email today"

At this point just cancel the damn order and be done with it...sheesh

As promised, we want to update you on the status of your Super Duty F-350 Limited order. We are still experiencing delays due to the supply chain challenges that Ford and our industry are facing at this time.

Please understand that while getting your vehicle into production is taking longer than usual, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays.

There’s nothing we want more than to deliver your new Super Duty F-350 Limited. We are fully committed to keeping you updated on your vehicle’s status, and will let you know as more information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience, and truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

I know Ice-capades has provided many suggestions but frankly I give up. I hate the dealer I ordered from and frankly I'm just done...*waves white flag*

  6. Well I've reached the 10 month point since my order was confirmed for my F350 limited.

Received the "certain options can lengthen the time" email on March 18th. Never heard anything form my dealer on the seat issue.

Went into the dealer once and got the run around from a sales person when I requested to talk with the GM to get details on allocation, etc...

I won't be ordering from them again that's for sure.
