I just got a 2015 Ford Transit Connect XLT Cargo (long wheel base) for work and it has a place for a 12v power on the back of the console but there is currently a blank plug in its place. Also my TC only has an audio in (3.5 mm) inside of the console.
In previous vehicles I have found that wiring harnesses are in place for items that weren't sold on the vehicle and I'm curious is this could be the case here as well? I currently have one 12v power on the front of the console and one in the passenger side rear.
My work involves approx 1000 to 1600 miles of driving a week and I've come accustom to having a GPS, Sirius receiver, and computer up front with me. My previous vehicle allowed me to plug up my phone via USB for audiobooks/music.
I know there is a higher end receiver (My Touch?) than what my TC has, but figured if anyone could answer these questions it would likely be all of you.
This vehicle is going to be a big change for me, but I'm hoping I can make it more suited to the luxuries I've grown accustomed to.
