Expedition order lead time. Anyone order and receive it yet?

My order went in 8/31, was accepted by factory at priority 11.

 

Now it's just in production 1 1/2 months later with a priority 01.

 

A thread by a dealer in TX says the first one was probably destroyed since most dealers use prioriy 11.

 

01 is reserved for special circumstances.

 

Anyway, the last time I ordered one it was sitting at dealership @ 7 weeks.

 

Anyone actually receive theirs and how long.

IIRC, A dealer can't get anything under a 10 without a regional rep involved.

 

Anyway, "funny" story. My dealer received an ordered Expedition. Customer wanted paint protection put on it. The company that installs the paint protection onto it picks it up. The driver, after going about 2 miles, speeds through a red light and gets T-boned.

 

Needless to say, there is a $55k 2011 Expedition behind the dealership with ~$35k worth of damage, the worker has not only been fired from his job but has 2 tickets in hand (speeding and running a red light), and the customer is now waiting for another vehicle (also with a priority 01).
