wix36
Any broad agreement on this for the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid? Also, What's the consensus based on actual driving as to the rough mpg hits based on driving conditions? For example, I currently have 2 Prii (one each gen 2 & gen 3). For the Gen 3 Prius the hits are as follows: Higher Speed (above 63 - 65 mph): 2 to 3 fewer mph, and it decreases fairly steeply the faster you drive Rain (wet road surface): 3 to 4 fewer mpg, steady Low Temp (below 40ºF): 2 to 3 fewer mpg, doesn't seem to go down again until temp goes below -5ºF High Temp (above about 82ºF): 1 to 2 fewer mpg Road Surface: Bare concrete has a very small but perceptible effect (ever so slightly lower) The sweetspot for the Gen 3 Prius is thus dry asphault road (obviously), 65 to 72ºF, @ 57 mph. I've got a 2013 FFH SE on order (love the styling and features absent on the Prii) and wonder what the real-world experience has been?
