niteshiftfromkc Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Right now we are working the traditional 3 shift pattern with o.t. on the weekends and throughout the week depending on what trades are needed to cover. Some of the o.t. has slowed down throughout the week. There are also two weekend shifts for a small amount of trades in which they work 12 hours on Sat and Sun and one 12 hour day through the week. I think that we are different from the other plants since we are basically two plants under one roof, and the trades can work o.t. in all departments (Stamping, Body, Paint, and Final) on both the truck side and the Transit side. They were trying to bring the same style schedule at LAP to us, but they would have to hire an additional shift of trades to cover the necessary numbers in all of the areas.
