davidceder
Don't know much about wheels but I do know I don't like the OEM 20's on my soon to be delivered Sport. My plan was to either powder coat the OEMs or replace them. I have decided to replace them. Does anyone know the spec on the wheels? Can I use 8.5 OR 9.0 inch rims? Is offset an issue? I don't want any warranty issues either. Any help appreciated.
edgy
Try giving Tirerack a call. They might have the stock specs and be able to guide you to a new set that will fit properly.
davidceder
Was sitting around yesterday so I decided to try to color in my stock 20 inch wheels to see what they would look like. It is clear to me that the brake calipers would need to be painted or treated in some manner if dark wheels were installed. I really like the optional 20 inch wheels on the Titanium. They are available at a cost of about $1600.00. (with tires, so not so bad) So for you folks with the optional 21 inch on the sport, how do you think they look with those silver calipers? drober30
You could have your calipers powder coated Red or Black . I think doing something to the calipers will be nice. Powder coating is better than painting them.
