2013 regen hybrid. Electrical issues

Last fall i had some trouble with no volume on the radio and that night aftr work the battery was dead. My mechanic identified an aftermarket remote starter that was 3g and no longer useful and determined it was draining the 12v. He removed it. Fast forward 6 months, same volume issue and dead that night too.
now my mechanic thinks it is the radioand is looking for a replacement.
anyone else have a similar issue and or suggestions.

I love this car and this is really the first trouble (200k miles)
