  1. Most badges are held on with adhesive/glue, don't know for a fact but I'm guessing the 5.0 badges will be the same. You can use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive/glue that holds the badges on to the car. The heat will soften the glue making it easier to remove the emblems.

I'm also trying to decide between the GT Base and Premium trim levels, I'm not big on leather seats. The sound system I want isn't available with the base model.

A heat gun or hair dryer (held closely to the surface) could potentially damage the paint.

IMO, you are better off using some dental floss to saw through the two sided tape that holds the badge. Then clean up with a citrus based cleaner like goo gone.

  2. Has Ford actually said they are not going to build the MKR? I thought the designers had intentionally made that concept with normal doors (instead of suicide doors) so it could be made into a production car.

IF Ford hasn't killed any prospects for the MKR, then it would make sense that we are now seeing test mules for the MKS. The MKS concept came out a year before the MKR did.

If Ford does release the MKR (and tones the grill down just a small tad) I think they'll have a run away hit. Lord knows the Interceptor would be a home run. :D

  3. hmm. hard to be positive IMO.

The interior isn't offensive by any means. However it is still using rather uninspired switchgear. I want this car to be a success but the new Caddy CTS interior looks superior to this one.

On the good side, it doesn't look like they used cheap materials.
