just go to your dealer. i work at the norfolk plant. i have a 2004 also, and the same problem happen to me. they over torqued the gasket and squeezed it out between the plastic housing and the roof of the truck. they will replace and put on a new one with the right torque. good luck.

i am trying to find some info on a problem with my ac on a 2004 f-150 lariet supercab. i have the climate control system on my truck. the electronic ac system. driving down the road the ac will just stop working for no reason. then you hit the ac button or the auto button and it comes back on. i am trying to find any 04 truck owners with the same problem. it has done this 4 times so far. i have not had the time to take it to the dealer yet. it is still under warranty. thanks in advance for any info i can get.

learn how to spell buddy. either you can't type or you can't spell. this website is full of people who can't even spell there name. this is really sad. it has been going on for awhile. half the people on these forums cant even spell there names. these people make 50,000 -80,000 dollars a year and can't spell. that is sad. ford will put you thru school if you need help. please try to make the forums readable.

i was in denver over the holidays and saw a big ford sign and a huge building off to the side of the interstate leading into the city. i was on my way to a hotel for the night because i had a over booked flight to montana. the place i saw was about 12 miles from the airport going into the city. my ? is what do they have there? is it a parts plant or office space? i have never heard of a place in denver that ford has. thanks for any info you might have.
