I agree - we're all in a bad position right now. We should be sticking together whether UAW or CAW. Division amongst us only makes FOMOCO feel good. It's what they want.

What's with all the rumours? "Word is Ford is closing". Word from who? I asked about this today and was told no such meeting with Scott took place. The meeting was to congratulate our plant on the excellent safety standards we met and surpassed, not to discuss plant closure. The guy is a safety guy, nothing more. Get your story straight before repeating nonsense with no factual basis.

How does one gain access to this information?

I'm on parental leave so I'm out of the loop right now. I looked for info online too but couldn't find anything. Watched nightly news too but nothing. Don't get your panties all in a knot. Just asking....

A retiree of STAP said they heard it on the radio (CJBK out of London) yesterday, September 4th, that 2 vehicles were being considered for STAP. Just another rumour or did anyone else hear it?

What kind of coward tells their employees and everyone else in the world that there will be X number of plant closures but doesn't disclose which ones? And today's announcement - we have more bad news but we're going to make everyone wait until next month? Yeah, that takes balls. You care about us? BS! At least GM told their people so they can make plans for their futures. What about us? We put our lives on hold until you say "yeah, we're shutting you down, sorry"!? Start offering buyouts to the STAP guys and get them out! They bargained 30 and out - get them the f--- out!
