  1. No, don't know for sure it is the AC, but that is what I thought at first and the dealer seemed to think also. Either way I haven't heard it lately, but then again the compressor doesn't seem to be running either. Haven't had time to take it in again, hopefully Monday. Will let you know what the new dealer says. Thanks for all the replies
  2. Just an update. Mine definitely blows full blast out the defogger too. not just a bleed off. The one thing they said they fixed, the Dash rattle, is back, not sure they even did anything to it. It was rattling again halfway home. The compressor isn't working at all anymore. I got under the hood this morning and turned on the AC button just to see if the compressor was engaging. The little AC light came on, but the compressor never turned. I'll bet that black plastic clip I found not attached to anything under the hood went on the AC somewhere and the AC coolant leaked out. How often does ford pay the dealer to fix the same thing? Are they not fixing things so they can keep charging Ford for the same repair? I went back to the dealer I bought it from as I thought I would get better service, and they might want to keep a customer. Doesn't seem to be the case. Should I give them another chance or go to the dealer closer to my house?
  3. Love my mustang! Love driving it! :D Just took it in with at list of about 10 items I asked to be checked out. 1. Rear axle noise. 2. Clicking noise under the hood - sounds electrical - cycles every 10 to 12 seconds or so. 3. Dash rattling bad. 4. Air mix for heating and AC- when the control is set for floor only air comes out the floor vent and defogger 5. vibration felt at 1300 - 1500 rpm 6. When traveling about 30 -40 , the tach will increase from 1000 or so to 2000 or more before any increase is speed is noticible. 7. Found a black plastic clip in the engine compartment Looks like a AC clip as another one was found actually on an AC line. Don't know if it was extra or missing from somewhere Can't remember what the others were at the momemt. I called this afternoon for an update. They had only looked at a couple of things at that point. #2. The clicking under the hood they say is the AC compressor coming on. My question - Should it do it every 10 seconds or so? #4. The air mix - They explain that is normal for that car. That if I were to go out on the lot and check any other mustang it would do the same thing. It may be "normal for that car", but that doesn't make it right. The next setting on control panel is to do exactly the thing it is doing when set at floor only. Another time when I was there for an oil change I asked about the windshield washer. On mine it spits/dribbles out at first and then you get an good squirt. By the time there is actually any fluid on the windshield the wipers have traveled clear across the windshield and are on there way back. Again they said it was normal. Isn't having a wiper go across a dry windsheild bad for the glass? Normal just doesn't cut it. These things should be working correctly. Just because it is something that happens regularly doesn't make it right. Can I expect that if the right person looks at it, it will get fixed properly? Let you know what they say about the other things. Anyone else being told something is Normal, but it just doens't make sense?
