That would be miraculous considering every robot is being swapped out, and welders are being replaced by riviters.
Well get on that then...They don't pay you to sit around...lol

Heard 3 weeks in July and 3 weeks in December. All of it should be done after Christmas if they do like the 09 launch, Tooling Trial will start in January/February.

I'd love to get a C crew grievance at DTP against A/B getting super Saturdays and Sundays.
Show up on a day off. The only shift that does not allow it is C-crew. A and B crew are always letting people from C-crew work (at least in chassis).

After years of "down weeks" and layoffs....I'm glad to be rolling non-stop.

maxed out plants.
LAP produced 7800 escapes last week
MAP made 5700 Focuses and 1100 C-maxed
HAP made 6200 Fusions
DTP produces about 7600 F-150 a week (not including super Saturdays/Sundays)

Well then they are going to fill the yard REAL fast....Still building over 1200 a day. And no, I have not heard anything about it at the plant. Guess I'll have to ask around tonight.

shot and killed in the Wixom plant by a crazy worker,
Nope...It was some local crazy who could not take "no" for an answer. So he walked in the plant to kill the woman who worked there. Which is why all Ford buildings now have gates with badge access.
...And lets be honest, the plant was TOO big. If Ford shut down two other plants then a case could be made to open it again. Who knows, if the state had built the new interchnge years ago (like they were supposed to) Wixom might still be open.

.
how does this affect relief time?
Last break will be 25 minutes....so one minute longer per person.

I'm not the moron who decided a protruding badge was a good idea ON AN ARMREST. If it was flush with the top surface, it would be fine.
And yet that is where it has been for the last four years....

It's a mule of something. Our plant has not sent anyone over to the new models plant yet to work on any 15's.

Let me put in my two cents. When we started building prototypes for the 09 back in 06, we did not use ANY new body styles. When we went back in 07 we started to use the new body/sheet metal for the first time (six months before it was revealed). Two years is a VERY long time to have a full prototype sitting around....

Seems we always get screwed one way or another on B crew. If we can run on a skeleton crew why cant A and C crew give up some of their extra people to B crew to even out the shifts???
Then maybe people can actually get a day off when they request it.

its about how you take it! the line goes down i don't clean my response is that job classification was taken away from us. The supervisor just moves on and tells the next guy. That next guy picks up the broom and starts sweeping. what a joke!!!! show me in my job description where it says i have to sweep, and if it is in the team ;leadrers job description shame on the union for letting it be there!
It's on the OIS sheets for team leaders AND tag relief....Who do you think o.k.'s the OIS.....

I thought it was April 9th.....

Had the 2 guys watching got involved, they would have been fired also. Best to just stay clear.
They could of pulled him off her without hitting him.
....And sorry, no way could I stand around and watch a guy beat the hell out of a woman.

I know the woman that got beat up in paint (by a guy coward) and two guys just watched...Glad to see chivalry is still alive...
As for the hilo drivers, it would of been swept under the rug except one of them went to medical and reported it. Super was just going to send them home for the night to cool off.
Heard the 3rd fight was on door line, but have not heard anything to confirm/deny it.

There are actually 3. DTP cannot build the regular cab 8ft bed, extended cab 8ft bed, and we do not build the King Ranch.
The FX2 production was consolidated at KCAP, and DTP cannot get an 8ft bed through it's box line. That will be rectified when we are shut down for our retool.
Fixed it for ya buddy. We do build the FX2 now.

I was wondering if P71 had somehow managed to infiltrate BON again.....theres some fantastic stuff on the horizon, so I would say its both, along with a dash of the "just add water" syndrome...
First thing that went through my head when I read the list....RWD/Panther....lol

nope no molding. All the truck trim lines look like that.

Where was the C Crew language we were promised!?
The same place as the language about tag relief..........

Is it the same as the four down tires or really a "temporary" tire? I have an XLTScrew 4x4 w/ chrome clad wheels P275/65R18's
Not really. It will usually be the same brand of tire your running on, but it will be a plain black rim. The 20" and 24" tires will only get an 18" spare (tire to rim ratio makes them sit about the same) and the Raptor does get a full spare, but different color rim so you know its the spare.
My vin starts with a "1" how about yours?
