does anyone in the union understand this law? the company seems to but the union is stonewalling and seem to not want to act on the law .http://www.roa.org/home/law_review_153.asp userra.com The law basicly states that when an empolyee returns from military activation they have the right to bid on any job that has been posted while they were gone as if they never left ,and if senority allows he/she will displace anyone that fill said bid/job . seems fair to me and considering the member pays dues and is in good standing with the union ,the union should be bending over backwards to protect the service members rights under federal law.
