Lincoln also has a longer warranty and the MKZ has a power decklid, which as far as I know the Fusion does not offer.

I have owned a Certified Pre-Owned 2013 MKZ 2.0 AWD fully loaded for over 3 months now and I must say it's a joy to drive. My favorite feature is the enormous pano roof! I also get great fuel economy and it handles really well in Sport mode. It's a great car for road trips! The push button transmission took a few weeks to get used to but now I am fine with it. The paddle shifters are great to have and are not offered on the Hybrid version. The best part of a CPO one is that it looks brand new with over 4 years and 70,000 miles of warranty left on it, but cost roughly 35-40% less than a brand new one!

I went back and edited the post, hopefully the new pic is a production model.
Yup it is!

RMC, I have, and I dislike the Edge front end quite a bit. Frankly (it pains me to say this) the Hyundai Sante Fe with a similar grill has much better, resolved styling in front than the Edge:
That's not a production Edge but rather the concept.

I was told by an insider that the prototypes will be as close to the concept as the last 3 Lincolns (MKZ, MKC and MKX) have been, if not closer!

I was told by an insider that the prototypes look exactly like the NYIAS Continental Concept!

I heard that the Continental as a concept is a market test, So no decision yet as to whether the new grill will replace the split wing grill entirely. However, prototypes are being built now and they look just like the Continental Concept!

If Ford is serious about staying competitive in the police sedan market, then there has to be a replacement for the current PI as well as Taurus. I doubt they would make a police version with no retail version.

A friend of mine that attended the show yesterday said he was a bit disappointed with the front fascia of the RS stating that if that is a production model, the lip will hit just about everything and the big plastic front of the bumper was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if that is the exact way they'll be coming in with but what are your thoughts about these 2 things?
I thought it was striking and didn't have a problem with that front fascia. My friend who loves cars like this and drives a GTI loves it except for the spoiler for some reason! I liked the blue color-coded brembo brakes.

IMO the best iteration of the split wing, and even then it was a tad heavy handed and in your face was the MKZ....I truly believe if it had been more subtle and jewelry like it would have been more successful.....
I really like the way it looks on the MKC and new MKX but apparently the design management didn't like it anymore!

I'm kind of disappointed that as soon as they swtiched the entire model line to horizontal bar spit wing grill, they came up with a totally different one. So now the rest of the line will take 2+ years to catch up to the new face of Lincoln!

On the up side, F Series Average Transation Prices have increased $2,100 year on year
so over 67,000 sales, that's a ton more ($134M) without ever building all those extra units.
Similarly, I wonder if transaction prices on Escape are up year on year too thanks to tight supplies.
While it's never good to have insufficient stock, it far , far better than fields full of unsold cars.
And then there's Explorer, going like a train with over 23,000 including PI Ute, who care if
Taurus sales are down to a piddle when it's joined at the hip to such a successful product.
Something is definitely up with Fiesta, well over 22,000 in inventory and Ford struggling to
shift more than 4,500 a month. Is Fiesta missing its marks because it's not sporty enough?
Fiesta may as well be considered a new model for Ford. It has been in U.S. market for only like 4 years or so? Also, Yaris, Fit and Versa are the more established players in this segment. Not to mention, how gas prices are still very low here in the U.S.

I still think it's funny that the members of this forum take much better pics of Ford's cars that Ford's advertising dept. does. Your pics are the best I've seen of this car and make it look so good that even I would like to own one and I'm not a big fan of CUV type cars. (Although I've had plenty of experience with the current Edge/Mkx and think it is a very class leading product.)
Those photos were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S4 camera, which is not even the latest and greatest from Samsung! Thanks for the praise!

So many fixes with this update and I've only had my 2013 MKZ for 8 months! The ambient lighting used to change back to white on its own from the color you selected. That's fixed! The text messaging on screen would disable on its own and only way to fix it was to re-pair your phone. That's fixed! Also, if you turned your phone on a few minutes after starting the car, the bluetooth would not automatically connect. Now it's much better about connecting under unusual circumstances without having to manually press connect on screen! Also, it used to freeze up more and have to perform "maintenance" almost monthly or bi-weekly!
