Norfolk NAP will be history within 5 years. Thanks for giving us the possibility of 5 years. All we hear is 18 months.

Skilled trades is only working a few people on weekends now. Also the main reason they wanted 4-10s is to shut the paint ovens off for an extra day. Said it would save 2 million a year. Heard the national said no to 4-10s because they met every concession Ford wanted with Atlanta and they still closed their best quality plant so they were told no more concessions.

5-8's still. Heard there was a no to 4-10s. No more down weeks scheduled,just the two we already had.

I saw the truck and it is nothing that can't be fixed. But it should have been done right to begin with.

Rumors are nothing new for us, They've been shutting us down for the last 50 years

Who cares It's only a matter of time before all the plants are closed and we're all building jap cars.

I'm not counting Norfolk out. When somebody starts talking logic and Ford at the same time I already know their are insane. I'm also not going to put any money on Norfolks future. I personally don't think any plant should feel overly confident because with the damage Toyota has already done to us and the progress the other companies have made recently that we hadn't really heard of 10 years ago I don't think Ford is where I would want to be counting on my retirement coming from. I hope they make it ,even if not still there but I think things will get much worse before they start to get better.

If you don't want rumors why are you on here? I doubt our plant manager or Bill Ford is going to be posting facts on here. Just remember they've been shutting Norfolk for the last 40 years so until they lock the gate I'm going to keep showing up.

Trades haven't been working Sundays in quite a while and not all are working Saturdays.

Did anyone see the right to buy the first 07 on barrett jackson this weekend? Went for 600 grand just to buy the first one. I think I'll wait a year for the rebate.
