Well, after sending the message out I got a letter in the mail yesterday from Sirius telling me my free 6 months are almost up. I thought i already had the Expy for 6 months. So I have till Friday the 13th to renew!!! I will defenitly be renewing.

Im not 100% sure but I think it can plug into the MP3 player, I will ask my husband, he would probably know. The tuners are cheap which is good, I know some are transmitted through the FM stations but I dont think the sound quality would be as good. As far as messing up the looks, it wouldnt they are small and could be mounted on with velcro.

Thats what I thought it was the kill switch for the alarm. That is an odd place, mine is under the steering wheel way below the dash. Glad you figured it out!!!

I cant find anything that looks like a clear button... Could it be something to do with the alarm system? Can you take a picture and send it in? I looked and looked and I dont see anything...

XPlan is the best you can get unless you are a Ford employee or deal employee. Maybe you could get better than XPlan if you know someone who works at a Ford Dealership but I doubt it, XPlan is a good deal. A Plan is limited to 2 a year and only to Ford Family. The only discount on XPlan would be rebates... Hope that helps.

Hey Mike, you dont sound like an idiot at all. I love Sirius, hubby likes XM. Satellite radio sounds 1000% times better than FM, as good as CD's. I like in the canyons so I dont get very good reception with FM so I am now spoiled. Sirius was $195 when the Expy was built and I think its less than $10 a month. You should go to Sirius.com and try their 3 day pass to check out the stations. You can add it to your car and just plug it into the stereo system and it would sound just as good. Some prefer Xm and some prefer Siruis, I also heard a rumor that they might merge. Hope this helps some...

Where are you located? That sucks that they did that, and I wouldnt give that dealer the time of day. They should have had those numbers to you right away.

Does anyone know how long the free sirius subscription was for? Im sure its changed over the past few months so this question would be for those that bought their Expy's when they first came out. I remember it being 6 months? I've had it longer then 6 months now and it didnt turn off, which I am not complaining but I am wondering if I was wrong about the time frame. Thanks

I havent noticed it doing that, I always listen to Sirius so I would remember it happening. Now I do remember have a problem where the picture on the DVD wouldnt show up but you could hear the sound but I found out we were doing something wrong.

ofcourse thats how it always works.. I just was saying if he isnt having the problem I wouldnt take it in.. Im so glad mine is better because its really improved my Expy.

I will run this through my Mom in the morning, she can figure out the lease figures and I will let you know. You might be better going with a 2 yr lease since they usually offer 0%. Now the 19,500 miles is per yr right? It might not be to bad of a deal. I know when I was going to do 3 yrs on mine it was going to be 8 something. But since I went with 2 yrs it was $650 but I am only doing 12,000 a yr. I will let you know tomorrow what I can find out.

Since you are leasing I would probably just do it now. The longer you wait on leasing an 07 the higher your payment can go because it loses value. This was what I have learned with leasing. I dont think the leasing deals will change much in the next month. If you want I can see if my Mom can find out what the next deals will be. Not sure if she has the power but its worth I try. I dont think the dealers find out till the day or 2 before. I say go for it, you will be very happy! I know I wouldnt be able to hold out as long as you are! BTW I havent had mine in deep snow but mud and it was fine and I have been on icy roads and it never had an issue...

Ok thats why I noticed mine works with mine that are MP3 format. I havent checked a store bought one yet. Will do it now and post back.

Well so far the trans is 150% better. Every so often I can feel it try and be lazy in take off but it catches really fast and goes. Also my gas mileage is going up. When the did the reflash 2 months ago my mileage went to 11.5 city and 12.5 highway. I am now up to 14 city and about 16 highway and thats without reseting the gas mileage gauge. When I drive up to Vegas next month I will reset it to see what my actual highway mileage is.

I will check mine today, I know that some CD players in some cars do show the text, I will let you know later today if mine does. How are you enjoying your Epy? I love your wheels, I was showing them to my husband the other day and he really likes how they look.

So I went back out and drove around town and there seems to be no lag at all from take off. It jumps right in first gear and goes. The 1-2 shift seems a little harsh but more I drive the better it seems. I think this might have fixed it!!! :happy feet: In the next few days I will let you all know how it is. I know the lag from take off was a big pain in the butt so if this fixes it then worth the few hours it took. I believe they can do this while you wait too.

I just got it back and not sure if I am pleased. Seems like I have my power back from the first reset but not sure I like how it shifts from 1-2. It doesnt have the lag anymore which is good. I need to drive it more before I can tell you 100% if its better or not. Seems the RPM's are set higher too. I will give more feedback after I drive it all weekend.

I took my Expy in today to get the TSB done and they gave me a loaner car which is an 07 Explorer and I am actually impressed with the new Explorer. I was never into the Explorer and never fit well in them and this one is very nice. I think its a great car for someone who doesnt like the big SUV feel but needs the rear 2 seats once in a while. It handles pretty well too. Anyway, I will get the EL back in the morning, they had to detail it for me since a Red Robin is in love with my Expy...

Did you get it in? Just take a copy of that TSb and they will do it.

No problem with that here, but we rarely see snow in Southern Califnornia... I do wax my rims though and it does help with the brake dust.

The white pearl is amazing!!! Thats what I will be getting on my 09!!!! I had the dark stone or whatever it was called in 03 and didnt like it, this is much nicer of a gray...

My Mom sold them the car, and their credit was very good.

Forgot to add, there was 0% interest on the 2 yr lease thats why I went with that. I know someone who got an XLT and they are buying it and paying the same for 72 months.
