I hear we are having some vehicles vandalized in the parking lot at Lima engine plant. Does anyone know if it is the companys responsibility to keep our vechicles safe while we are at work?

Okay, I guess I asked the question wrong...Can you leave at 55 without full benefits? As in be 55 with 20 years and retire with partial benefits.

Does anyone know how retirement at 55 works? If you have 20 years in and are 55 can you retire at 55 and still have insurance?

There was nothing at all wrong with the letters the employee wrote. What happened to freedom of speech? If you don't like the letters or disagree with them then simply don't read them. How hard is that? The employee certainly did nothing wrong to deserve to be taken to labor.

Sorry, You are correct I should thank Ford, and the UAW. I just cannot believe these plants are voting this down. Bringing Jobs to the U. S. is HUGE. I know so many people that have been laid off, plants have closed, People need jobs. And if you think they wont cross a picket line you are wrong.

We are Blessed to have these jobs. Ford Motor Company has allowed me to keep my family in a decent house, put food on the table, drive a nice vehicle, send my child to a good school....And thats just the beginning this list could go on and on. People open your eyes and look around you at the unemployment rates. Foreclosures are everywhere. I know how I am voting... YES. And be thankful that I have a job and am able to go to work everyday.

Does this overtime after 8 hours mean that plants that are on 10 hour days 4 days a week will go back to 8 hour days? Thanks in advance for insight

Look, about your girlfriend leaving you because of your commitment to your job....YOU don't need her. Your partner in life is supposed to stand by you through thick and thin. In good times and bad times. What are you thinking? Look at the women who are married to soldiers, they are gone for who knows how long, and dont know if they are even going to make it back. But the good ones are waiting. Its about building a life together and taking the good with the bad. Someone else will come along for you. God Bless.
