  1. I took the buyout from AAI. I got my check in Feb and moved back to the St.Louis area. I just used the A plan one week ago. Go to the dealer and they will call the 800 number. It clearly stated that we would get A plan for life. It was in writing.
  2. I got the buyout on Jan1 and got my check on Feb 1 and no fed taxes were taken. Also I know of at least one other that got the same as me. 89,000 plus. File exempt.
  3. I just called and mine was not there yet. Security said to call after 10:30am tomorrow and see if more came in.
  4. That's what he told me this morning. I posted it around 10:30am. There is another post titled AAI Buyouts with all information.
  5. Update. I spoke with Dave Deboodt today. He found out that the checks should be in on Friday the 9th. Dave has worked hard on getting this information for us. At least now we have a date. I hope this information helps. Good luck to everyone.
  6. Does it make it right to give bonuses to one side and not the other. Bottom line is that all of these people work for the same company. This means the company is playing favorites with only one side which brings us back to my title of this post. Understand?
  7. I spoke with Labor today and they said that Dearborn has started processing the educational checks only. Not sure what this means or when you get them. Hope this helps. Still waiting on my $100,000. We are about the only plant that has not gotten our checks yet. Can you say Bullshit?
  8. It's amazing to me that here we are only 30 miles from Detroit and no one from AAI has gotten a check.
  9. Well first of all I am no longer an employee. I took the buyout and it is taking the company so far 5 weeks to print out checks. Second, the company is in terrible shape and has gotten rid of over 30,000 workers to trim costs and now they want to give upper managment bonuses to boost morale while at the same time not giving two shits about it's true work force, the "white coller". And lastly, if you did work on an assembly line for a while, say 13 years like myself, you would understand the "perks that we do have and how hard the union has worked to give us those benefits. I doubt you would last on the line. Also, the membership will most likly take more cuts in the upcoming contract talks. Please don't make comments on things you have no knowledge.
  10. UPDATE. I spoke with Dave DeBoodt and was told that he is working to get our checks asap. However, it may not happen for another week. For some reason Linda in Labor did not turn in our paper work until just two weeks ago and I'm hearing that it takes a few weeks to process. As I said, Dave and Michelle are both working on making it sooner. I am about to snap.
  11. No problem. You don't see the company posting any information for us. Or anyone else for that matter. We took the buyout and we are now on our own. Ford care's less about us now than they did when we were there. I will post as soon as I know anything.
  12. Why does every post turn negative and people start calling other people names? I simply started this post because I and many other employees are a little pissed off at not getting our checks. We're not even getting any kind of solid information from the company. There are alot of people on here that just want to stir up shit. "Don't take my kindness as a weakness."
  13. Spoke to Phil in Labor today and was tld that on Friday his boss "Michelle" sent a letter to Dearborn to give AAI priority to process the checks. What effect this has I have no idea. Hopefully this week.
  14. I thought TCAP already got theres?
  15. Sorry folks but they can't even print out my faaaqing check or anyone elses but they are thinking about boosting morale for the salaried? Fuck them!!!!! I wish all the brothers and sisters that decided to stay luck because they will need it. :censored: :censored: :censored:
