Hey just wandering if you take the buy out package if Ford pays you your vacation and personal pay that they owe you. Also if you take the buyout and are let go on Jan 1st and you are june eligible do you acrew any other vacation for a half a year. :shrug:

You get the 100000 minus taxes and you get 6months insurance. They are taking 500 to dearborn, so be one of those 500 .

Well the thing I heard yesterday was that night shift will be lucky to work 1 more week this year and that will be it for the night shift. So I would think the packages will be gobbled up quick. Also the training comes into play you cant let everybody leave that know certain jobs how would you build a truck. I guess I might be seeing some overtime on the repair side yeah........ I want the 100000 but would like to work until they lock the gate and keep the insurance until then. :happy feet:

I asked the same question and they dont seem to have an answer. I do know that they will have to run 1 shift and probably will not let everyone go. I think they will let the 500 ready to retire go and the ones that take the transfer they will probably get to go. :shrug:
