Just got info in the mail that the buyout takers are now entitled to "Dislocated Worker" benefits, i.e. tuition reimbursement, job placement assistance, much more. They are offering meetings starting this week. This is a good thing!
Got a COBRA letter in the mail today stating that if I didn't send in a payment, my insurance would be cancelled. I talked to a coworker who also took the 100K and they got the same letter. Sounds like someone f'ed up yet again >shocker<.
Anyone else from TCAP get this bs letter?
He didn't really have any info on the distribution procedure...just that we were supposed to get the vac pay last week, but the company screwed up...so to look for it this week.
Does anyone from TCAP have any info on buyout or leftover vacation checks being dispersed? Will they be direct deposited? Or will we have to pick them up? I called labor yesterday, and they didn't seem to have any info, other than the standard 3-5 wks stuff.
