Ah. You got hooked like me. I have the same system (only 5 speakers instead of 6) and was curious about the input feature. I asked the dealer for help and got nowhere. They said the input feature was for something other than an external device such as mp3 or dvd. Anyone else got any info?

Ford only wants to assemble car and engines. The are getting ride of everything else. They have or are in the process of selling off their parts manufacturing plants (ie Visteon, Nemak and now their ACH division entirely) and will eventaully get rid of their power generating. I attened a meeting in Dearborn a couple of weeks ago and it was confirmed by a senior manager that Ford's long term goal is to reduce/eliminate " unskilled labor " form the work force. When asked what "unskilled labour" meant, the reply was given that multi skilled, multi tasking people would be the objective. Sounds to me this is the start of that objective. "Lean Manufacturing" I believe its called.
