Hey folks, this is proman still waiting for the delivery of my 07 EB. They are telling me that it will be during the week of Dec. 11th but who knows. How do you expy owners feel now about your new rides ? I know you have to have at least an average of 2000 miles own your expys by now. Are you still as happy with it now as you were ? I'm just going nuts waiting for mine and just need to talk with someone who likes the expy like I do. Let me hear from you. I'm even willing to speak with someone who doesn't like the expy so I can just discuss it. Mike

I wish you the best of luck in your new business. I live in a small rural county in NC and there is only one Ford dealership. Upon the delivery of my 07 EB expedition, it will be the 6th ford product I have purchased from these people. I am surrounded by larger counties with much larger dealerships but I refuse to shop elsewhere. This small dealership is family owned and the people are just so nice and there is never any pressure to buy. Their service after the sale is also wonderful. Not one time have I had to take back a vehicle for repairs after they fixed it the first time. I have been waiting for my 07 for 2 months now. It is suppose to be delivered during the week of Dec. 11th. There are 3 larger dealerships that I could have purchased this vehicle right off the lot but this small dealership has my loyalty. So purchasing a car can be a very pleasant experience more than one time. These people have even come to my rescue when I had a flat tire and fixed it for me. So the best of luck to you. Mike

This question is really for Ford Mgmt., but if anyone can help please do. I made arrangements to trade in my 05 EB Expy for a 07 EB Expy. This was done on October 11th with an expected arrival date by middle or end of November. It has now been a month and upon calling the dealership today Nov. 7th, I hear that it most likely will be sometime in December. The salesman related that he had not received a delivery date yet from the Ford company. I don't want December to get here and then they say it might be January or later before it gets here. I have no complaints against the dealership with this issue. The business is family owned and they are wonderful people. I would like a delivery date no matter what that date would be just so I knew it was coming. Can you help me Ford Mgmt ??

I just checked and my dealership still doesn't have a delivery date. I am so hoping that it will be by the end of this month. Can you not go to another dealer and purchase your expy that is on the lot ? What did you order?

MTPwife: Wanted to let you know that I appreciate the hard work that you and your family put in to the expy. I have owned two and have been very pleased. I have an 07 on the way hopefully by the end of November. Ford may design the expys but it's dedicated people like you and your family that put them together and make sure they don't clank, clunk, and shake. Great work!!!!!!

I live in Eastern North Carolina. There is a dealership about 25 miles from me that got 3 expys about a week ago. A blue EB, Copper EB, and a white sand Limited. Both EB's have been sold. My dealership only has one coming and it is the one I'm getting. However, they are telling me that it will be 5 more weeks before it shows up which will be a total of 8 weeks that I will have been waiting. I wish Ford could move these things quicker.

Thanks for answering ELlover. I have become convinced that the new expy is for me. My 05 is not that quiet and with all the changes inside and outside with the new 07 I just got to have one. Ordinarily, I would not trade this soon but there are just so many changes that I think the 07 may be the best that's been made thus far. Mike :bandance:

Hello Bob: Got a headlamp question for you. I have had two expys, a 98 XLT and presently have a 05 EB. When I got the 05 I was amazed as to how well you could see the sides of the rode and the distance down the rode. Are the 07 headlamps as bright as the 05 ? Also, is your 07 quiet on rough rode tops and when traffic is passing by you ? I will be trading my 05 in for a 07 EB. Mike

I don't know how to thank you enough. The pictures I found on the internet were of the copper, metallic grey, black, etc. Just seeing your oxford white expy in these pictures lets me know I picked the right color for me. I'll look at your pictures on a daily basis to help me get over this mental state I'm in because of waiting. This is one fine looking vehicle. :happy feet:

Tiffany - I will be happy to let you know when I get it. If you see RADCAD's response, you see how he and his wife come up with excuses to drive their expy. That's like me, I've owned a98 and 05 and would just " ride the road " as my wife puts it for no reason but to enjoy the vehicle. I know what you mean by the going insane . Every day that passes it gets worse. I probably won't be mentally capable of driving by the time it arrives. What makes it worse, I work directly across the street from the dealership so every time I go outside for anything, I'm looking for my expy.

RadCad - Thanks for your response. Man what a beautiful expy. You have the color I ordered and I have had no luck in finding pictures of the oxford white EB. Your picture just drives me crazy ! Is the inside of yours the camel with greystone accents, that is what will be on mine. Could you possibly take a picture of the front of your expy so I could see the new grill? Wow !!!!! It is a beauty!!!

I am new to this forum. I have been reading about everyone's opinions and excitement and really enjoyed it. I felt like I could get the answers I needed from members of this forum. I am suppose to get my EB expy at the end of November and very excited. However, I've read on the forum that some of you have had a bad experience with the 1st gear of the transmission, wheel problems, etc. I would really appreciate it if those of you who have got your expy could tell me if you are still having trouble with the trans, the wheels, the ride ( the 07 is suppose to be superior in ride and comfort and quietness) over pass generation. I really want this vehicle but also don't want to make a mistake since it would be an expensive one. Thanking you ahead for any input. Mike :shrug:

Wondering how you like your new expy. Would like to know if you had any trouble with your 1st gear of the transmission like some others indicated. Also would like to hear about the ride of the new expy. According to previews it is suppose to be quiet, smooth, and comfortable (more so than in the past ). I will be getting mine during the latter part of November and am excited. :happy feet:
