That's not goose bumps you're feeling, it's your ass puckering in and out
wondering why the big bang hasn't happen and taken half of you with it....
Well I have seen 4.6's turning 9500 but that was all motor maybe the turbo part was a little much but hey if money was no object anyway i can see potential with it just something different.....

Hey, I have a 2000 f150 5.4 with 205000 miles and have had a cold knock at startup. I have recently tried 20w 30 synthetic oil and added a quart of marvel mystery oil. It definately softened the knocking sound. I have tried other additives such as engine restore and other stuff but the marvel mystery oil has produced a noticeable result. thought y'all might like to know.

Power Stroke vs. Duramax in Diesel Power magazine

I think it was due to the difference in turbo setup. The isuzu in the chevy has variable vane. The powerstroke inhouse deisel has a variable double compressor wheel not sure why this would be better obviously not. wiki ford 6.7 specs=Honeywell’s single-sequential turbocharger features an industry-first double-sided compressor wheel mounted on a single shaft. Combines the benefits of a small turbocharger (faster response) and a large turbocharger (ability to compress and force more air into the engine for more power) in one unit.[3]
