  1. There was a thread about this a couple of weeks ago but I can't find it now.

I think it was due to the difference in turbo setup. The isuzu in the chevy has variable vane. The powerstroke inhouse deisel has a variable double compressor wheel not sure why this would be better obviously not. wiki ford 6.7 specs=Honeywell’s single-sequential turbocharger features an industry-first double-sided compressor wheel mounted on a single shaft. Combines the benefits of a small turbocharger (faster response) and a large turbocharger (ability to compress and force more air into the engine for more power) in one unit.[3]

  2. A Ford 6.8 V10 turning about 8 grand in front of you?

That's not goose bumps you're feeling, it's your ass puckering in and out

wondering why the big bang hasn't happen and taken half of you with it....

Well I have seen 4.6's turning 9500 but that was all motor maybe the turbo part was a little much but hey if money was no object anyway i can see potential with it just something different.....

  3. Hey, I have a 2000 f150 5.4 with 205000 miles and have had a cold knock at startup. I have recently tried 20w 30 synthetic oil and added a quart of marvel mystery oil. It definately softened the knocking sound. I have tried other additives such as engine restore and other stuff but the marvel mystery oil has produced a noticeable result. thought y'all might like to know.
