  1. Thats why people who are scheduled to go to Saline are being pushed back to train people before they leave. Many buildings have extra people. They are supposed to have people on loan to cover the people going to Saline. At a "B" senority. So far this has not happened.
  2. I'd like to know what plant is hurting for replacements for the people leaving to Saline.
  3. So why did they go to an ACH plant?
  4. After this week there will be a two week delay. I think from layoffs.

  7. Its a good question you ask. At some Ford facilities the people leaving to go Saline have less senority than the people coming in. They haven't told the people at the Ford facilities that they are only loaned to the building. Its going to be a mess when everything pans out.
  8. The cut off is early Sept. 93 next wk.
  9. Saline must be the land of milk and honey. I have to agree with General when Ford employees hit the floor they will find a way to get rid of OT.
  10. The last I heard was the union due money would go to Saline, but I've been lied to before.

  16. As much as Captain posts on this topic I'm beginning to think he was from Saline.
  17. Thanks for the info and the honesty
  18. Oh great I've brought him out of his post or a Rawsonville post.
  19. Ok your right the conferences were not to discuss supply base. I should have worded it better than saying it was a major topic, but it is for my plant. We are having a supplier issue with the volume increase. The source I got was first hand in the meeting. Privledged don't know. Overtime and laidoff workers are a issue at my plant. These topics were repeated the state of the plant meeting from the conferences. The main conference was political BS. Hope this clears it up for you Smokin. Captain was getting to stat to sound like Chirper.
  20. Captain Tool, How many years have you work at Saline? Since you are on this Saline topic you must have work at Saline because you know so much! Naive no. JCI was close to buying Saline. Plastech is the main reason the deal did not go thru. The rate to barrow money is another. The reasons you gave are not even the issues. You are right about one thing only I wasn't at Cobo Hall, but I was at my state of the plant meeting. The issues I brought up is correct from Cobo. This info came from my plant manager and chairman. Are you working? From what I've read from your comments it doesn't sound like it. If your laid off I'm sorry about that. Hopefully you have enough senority to be picked up some where. Don't be so bitter, Ford is overloading all plant to get rid of all laid off workers. This is happening now.
