So who is going to be forced to DTP? We are hearing all sorts of rumors we heard Milan, now we are hearing maybe Saline and Sheldon Rd. WTF?

They did the same thing at Rawsonville and it really helped, not. That place is a ghost town now and we are stuck at Saline the turd of ACH

Heard a rumor that the people at Saline who are from Rawsonville will be surveyed again to return. I was told that if we turned it down it would be our second time and Rawsonville will no longer be our home plant. Has anyone heard anything and is there anything at all going on at Rawsonville?

Would you people please get off of 892, they are trying harder than you could imagine. If you work at Saline then you understand that management is not the top notch talent that was once availible. Things are different at Saline because of management not the union. I think we can all agree that Big Pete made deals that have affected everyone in one way or another and the cleaning up continues. Now I hear that Pete is already campaigning for chair again, some people just do not learn. If you are on here bitching about 892 ask yourself what you are doing to help the cause. When you see management working on the line are you popping them? When you see management being disrespectful to others are you speaking up? The union is shit if we don't stick together and from what I see on this site we are divided and it is a wet dream for management. Elections will come soon if you think that is the way to change things, but until then let's stick with the union and help change things rather than sitting online in our underwear bitching about things that cannot be changed without unity. If we are not united we are divided and if management reads this site then they know that they have us where they want us.

Do not kid yourself, the way they are running Saline I cannot personally see this plant staying open very much longer. It is not the union, but the company. I have never worked anywhere, Burger King included, where it took 2 supervisors to run a shift with 30 people on it. That is better odds than prison guards have. Saline is just a stopping point in what is sure to continue to be the clusterfuck that we call Ford.

Jesse Jackson is the greatest thing for the UAW since Bob King! Figure that one out.

How is Rawsonville going to have openings? The rumors we are hearing is that they are losing more jobs than they are gaining and there are alot of us who still have RTBU rights before they could post any jobs, correct me if I am wrong please.

Please do not get me wrong, the work at Saline is easy, but the management makes Rawsonville management actually look intelligent. The Saline man. has no respect for the contract or the union. And I don't see this changing as was promised when Kanitz came into office. The company is still hanging that blue oval in front of the union's face and they are falling for it. The Rawsonville days are truly missed. The grass is not greener on the Saline side.

We have been hearing these rumors for far too long. I will beleive in Rawsonville's future when I see more cars than weeds in the parking lot. I pray that I will be able to someday return from the shithole that is Saline. You guys just do not know how bad it truly is!!!!!!

I have to agree with Pulse on this, if you think that going to another plant is a cakewalk then just come to Saline where supervisors are in great quantity and intelligence is at an all time low. I thought Rawsonville management was terrible until I got to Saline and found out where the McDonald's University flunkouts come to supervise.

The one thing that the company has forgotten is loyalty. It used to be you hired into Ford and knew that you were set for life. You put up with the bullshit for 30 years and were rewarded for it, but now Ford is looking for any and every way to fuck us out of money and benefits while the IUAW provides the lube. With Boob King up to be our next president I don't see it getting any better in the future. Our IUAW just came to us saying if we didn't vote for this most recent concession package the company was in jepordy yet the Detroit News said Tuesday that management is getting the 401k match and education funds back. Call international, tell your union reps enough is enough. 2011 is right around the corner and our memories are long. No more, do you hear that Boob? Enough is enough!!!! My anus still hurts from the last concession package and I didn't even get a reach around!!!! This shit makes me want to go out and buy a Honda just to show them what I think of this rinky dink company.

I work at Saline and make the door panels for the F-150 and we have been on critical status since September. We have worked at least six days since then and are wondering the same thing. Who is buying all of these trucks?

Talked to a guy named Ruben at internetional this morning and they said they are already working on getting out ETAP back among other things. Now if we can get the membership to utilize this service so that it is not so easily negotiated out again. Remember an educated worker is a more powerful worker.

Leave Joel alone! He got all of us our jobs and kept us in jobs as long as he could. Is he the reason the economy sucks? I think that you should thank Joel for what he has done for all of us and our families.
