  1. Yeah, I get that, you'd just hope that explanation would have been on the tail end of the "hey, do you think you could do us a favor and help train the new hires on pm shift?" But I guess that may infringe on them getting the answer they desired. I stand by my topic heading though, these guys are getting walked on, I guess the work coming in comes at a price, its just too bad we have to pay it
  2. The company is saying there's a six month freeze on bumps, even though the union officials said at the meeting international uaw says no, people came to pm shift to help train the new hires and are now being told they can't bump back to days
  3. They never had 2nd tier in the caw ford plants, just took longer to get to full scale
  4. What about tranfers coming from other plants who are already on the apprentice list, if they transfer thier status on the list, will they take a pay cut to go on trades

  6. Will being on workers comp effect my amount of profit share, ive heard of many people who didnt receive signing bonus, or cola bonus due to being on approved workers comp

Why is a strike the only recourse if this vote ends up being NO, why the scare tactics, why not go back to the ompany nd say let's settle this outstanding grievance and keep the extension in place until old business is ettled, why is brother Settles calling me names, why is veba starting to sound like a ponzi scheme or social security at best I don't know what's gonna happen, I don't know the answers to my questions, but one thing I do know is there's a lot of in fighting going on and it may be time for a restructuring of the iuaw, I believe yrs of nepotism and favortism has turned this union into a group of yes men and people who know they don't belong there and if they just sit quietly nodding their heads nobody will notice. I don't think bob king is a bad guy, I just wonder if this is the right time to stand... be well everyone...vote with your heart... and deal with your head

If you know, then you also know there's a list of drivers who are supposed to be put on first, and as someone who knows, doesn't it freak you out that raws can be 100 percent 2nd tier, and they're letting 2nd tier workers drive trucks, as someone who knows, you should know your days of driving are numbered

That's nice to hear, considering I've been on a waiting list for over 3yrs for that job, I was even told after spending most of my summer taking the class and getting certified that I would be called back from saline when a position opened up, also kinda scary that they're even brnging in 2nd tier for a job that has always been considered skilled trades, what's next 2nd tier pipefitters while journeymen sling tires at dtp
