If I am not mistaken, once you sign the paperwork the dealer does not have to take the car back, depending on the situation most will. Do not be misinformed that the dealer ship has to take the car back. This information comes from and an attorney when I wanted to do the same thing because I thought the truck I had purchased had been in a wreck. The Dealer can tell you "tough luck buddy" if they are inclined to. You are basically at their mercy so use your manners and don't piss them off, Good Luck

I have heard so many opinions of what aftermarket performance items will void a new car warranty. I have heardthat it depends on the dealership, new car warranty can be voided if the aftermarket piece has nothing to do with warranty issue. I am truly curious about this. I can not see where adding a different type of air cleaner that will improve gas mileage could void your warranty. I can however see where adding a super charger or a turbo charger could definitely have a negative affect on a motor. Denying warranty because of an air cleaner and the ecu reprogrammed for the correct fuel/air ratio. I mean can we no longer have our cars tuned up by anyone other than Ford Motor company. without voiding our warranty. I truly would like to know the truth about this, as well as my question about warranty cannot be denied when the problem is not a direct cause of any replacement part

you have to know that this dealer has been busting his butt keeping this from Ford corperated. He is so gonna be squirming in his seat at the hearing. I bet if this were your car you wouldn't be cryin' spam so loud. As far as the owner, why haven't you been to an attorney yet. Now attorney in his right mind would turn this down, and I would be beating the door down at the BBB. I can't believe you continued to drive the car this long. I would have parked it on their lot and left it. THen went straight to the lawyers office. If I had know of this crappy treatment I can tell you that ford would have 5 less new vehicles purchased from them.
