Luckily. My Mach e will last more than enough though the entire weekend. All the other cars except the fiat 500e will be perfectly fine. But honestly it could get by. But I can just charge it after 9pm. Again. Not a big deal. But if I have to sacrifice a weekend to just not charge it. So be it. This is our reality. Climate change is not a joke.

I have been a member of this forum since I was about 13. I’m now 30 ????
I really never post. I just come here to read. But this thread is ridiculous. I have owned 3 plug in vehicles. A Fusion energi, fiat 500e, and I now have a Mach E. I still have all of these vehicles in our family. Dad- maverick hybrid, mom- cmax energi, grandma- cmax, boyfriend- Hyundai ioniq…. Etc. I have experience with all of the maintenance and issues, or lack there of for the most part. People who don’t live here in CA act ridiculous when they read this BS. It’s not unusual to charge charge between the hours of 9pm-4pm the next day! As others here have mentioned. It’s not that complicated. All of our cars have been overall flawless and have required almost no maintaince. I’ll keep enjoying this more responsible life style that’s so much more convenient, financially beneficial, and overall just a better driving experience. I am just so giddy as to all policies and legislation that are getting through very recently. Something needs to happen. Better late than never. And better something than nothing. But hey, maybe I’m just more “radical” ?

Well why not...evidently ford just opened there mouth earlier today in support of kneeling during the national anthem...my question is why are they so f'in stupid to even interject themselves into this political mess involving the nat'l felon league...just dont understand why they can be that stupid at times...oh well...dont care for sports but do care bout my ford stock price...doubt this move by ford can help....

I'll be really surprised if there is another NAIAS vehicle intro in addition to the Focus and MKX, MyFord and new Mustang engines. I think they are saving Edge and Explorer for Chicago and NY. Remember back in '06, Edge and MKX weren't introduced at the same auto show. Why should they be now? Also I remember Horbury stating that from now on (time of Flex/MKT and MKS/Taurus) Lincoln and Ford introductions will be spaced as far apart as possible. Does anyone remember if the Fusion/Milan/MKZ mid-cycle intros were simultaneous? I think they weren't!

im really suprised to see 412 hp! are there any other small n/a v8s out there that make this kind of power?? i wonder if it also has direct injection

i typically see about one 2010 fusion per day here in orange and la county. im really surprised to see them showing up so quickly!

Yes i seen it in person both at the la auto show andi had time with it at the dealer ystrday while my car had its oil change. Im much more impressed by the fusion sport and the mks.

Love that song! But the new mkz isnt all that great in my opinion. I have pretty much decided that i will not be trading in for the new one. Its actually kind of boring. I like my mkzs sharp lines and stamped sheetmetal while the new one just looks blah.

Notice that the MKS will now have paddle shifters and they have now replaced the gauges that everyone hated

oh and the back of the fusion looks so much better in person. the whole ford section was so much more lively than the gm and chrysler sections. when we were walking through the gm area my dad said, "its so sad that you can feel the desperation." and thats exactly how i felt. but it was good to see the ford section so nicely put together for once.

when i saw the car today i was kinda ready to trade in my mkz for one. its so sporty yet refined.

i know i hate daylight savings i barely have enough time to wash the car when i get home. i usually have to clean the inside when it is dark already.

ya they didnt really even show the car they mostly showed that blue drift mustang. did u hear them say that something else about the mustang will be revealed at NAIAS? maybe the 5.0 or shelby

haha im as anxious to see the mkz as you BORG cause it will probably replace my current one. im dying but watching the mustang unveiling on speed helped a little bit.

The way I look at all of it is why are we making excuses of why we can’t do it? Why is it that we keep dragging our feet? I thought that people would be excited to have vehicles that you can power with 100 percent American energy. Further than that you can even power with the sun. I just can’t ignore how much damage oil has done. Not only concerning the earths health itself but look at how the economy is beholden to oil.
