  1. Do you have a TSB number for the wind noise coming from the mirrors? I'm taking mine in for that exact problem Monday. Thanks - Jeff
  2. New TSB 07-08-11? Just had my 2007 serviced and I complained of a hesitation from a stop not unlike many have reported after the first TSB was applied. Mine has a build date of 4/2/2007, so I think it fell outside the first TSB for trans recalibration. I mentioned the 07-4-8 TSB, though. Apparently there is another TSB # 07-08-11... Quote from work order, "PERFORM TSB 07/08/11 REPROGRAM PCM/TCM CODE 04 BASIC RECAL." They didn't offer me the text of the TSB - sorry. So far no more hesitation and it seems to have a quicker acceleration take off.
  3. Good news, bad news... The good news is that Ford is aware of a problem, bad news, no fix yet. There is a SSM on it. SSM #19787 - "2007 EXPEDITION/NAVIGATORS - ELECTRONIC AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL (EATC) HEAD ERRATIC OR INOPERATIVE DUE TO CELL PHONE CHARGING. - Some 2007 Expediton and Navigator vehicles may exhibit an erratic or inoperative EATC control head and/or intermittently inoperative blower motor. If the condition cannot be duplicated, ask the customer if they plug a cell phone charger into the IP power point. If so, try to duplicate the concern engine running, EATC on and cell phone charger plugged in for at least 1/2 hour. If concern is duplicated, please document the type of phone used. Please submit a global concern report through the PTS website. Advise customer to use the auxiliary power point in the rear of the center console or try a new charger. Monitor OASIS for updates."
  4. 2007 Expedition EB here... Same thing happened. On the highway for a while and the fan just quit. Compressor still worked, air was blowing in from normal highway driving but NO control over the front fan. Cycling HVAC on/off had NO effect on it. Rear system was fine. When I got off the highway, I restarted the engine and it returned to normal. Few days later... Driving on highway for a while and the fan turns itself to FULL HIGH! NO control over it with temp setting or even turning HVAC system on/off. So I got off the highway, restarted the engine and all was fine again. Hasn't happened again for a few days... Going to the dealer today with other minor warranty issues too... I'm sure it won't act up for them. It will be fun to see what they say.
