  1. Hello all! I am looking to purchase either a 2012/13 model year and curious if anyone has any information on unpublished dealer incentives for each model year, I am aware of the published programs and looking to get the best deal as I like both model years. Also anyone have any quick comments on any purchases they have made in the past 30 days and how much off invoice. I like the stripped down GT but if the price is good enough will go with a premium. I do have x plan availability and I know not a whole lot of 2012 models left out there.. I am in the Northeast, Ohio zip code of 44145. Thanks so much.
  2. After many months of deliberation I finally purchased a FWD I4 Limited w/ the 302A R.S package w/ the 17" chrome wheels, charcoal interior, black exterior. $27,068 price before any rebates, taxes, title etc. MRSP = $28,725. I think this is a pretty good price, the dealer also tossed in a lot of extras worth about $500.00, (ie: 2 tanks free gas, heavy duty floor mats; windshield/interior/exterior coat protections - those three worth about $50.00 in my opinion, 3 yrs. maintenance at cost and some other misc. items. I think it was a good price in my opinion. I know the dealer still made a profit, @500.00? on it and have no problem with that aspect. Any comments appreciated. I want to get cargo protection for the the area in back, any suggestions, would prefer something that also protects the vertical surfaces and the back of the rear seats, also want like to get some fog lights, suggestions?? Who do you guys suggest for an online supplier for aftermarket items? Thanks so much for your input
  3. Hi all again: Will be buying a new vehicle within the next 30 days, either an Escape or Fusion. Not sure if going with the 0% or taking the rebate and financing otherwise, the difference between 0% and a regular bank loan is about $450.00 more overall if I elect to take the rebate from Ford. The question I have is does the dealer get a % of the loan if financed thru Ford Motor Credit and if so what % or flat dollar amount would they receive. If they get a kickback I want to negotiate some of what they may get to lower the final sale price below the xplan price. I am already approved for any vehicle with Ford a I am a returning customer and it would be less paperwork/hassle to complete/tolerate. Also, is anyone aware of what the current dealer incentives are on these two models, if any, and I don't mean the commonly advertised rebates. Thanks so much.
  4. Hi: My lease is ending on my Edge in January and leaning towards a Fusion Sport FWD or Escape/Mariner. Anyone have up to the date information for the loyalty incentive on either of these two vehicles. I have either leased an SUV or crossover for the past ten years and the test ride on the Sport was out of this world and I don't think riding up higher in the former is that much to give up considering the build quality/ride/handling on the Fusion. I live in Northern Ohio. I will be buying on the X plan this time around. Considered the AWD Fusion Sport but after tons of research convinced would be ok w/ front wheel drive and dedicated snows. Any and all comments welcomed especially real world experience with the Fusion w/ dedicated snows.. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hello: I keep debating getting a Limited I4 w/ FWD v. 4WD v. Hybrid FWD v. 4WD. From what I have read the gas I4 has plenty of power as does the FEH. I don't know if the cost differential is worth it for the FEH due to the breakeven point being at least 5-6 years. Cost is not so much an issue but why spend the extra $ if it's not worth it. Also debating FWD w/ a good set of snows v. 4WD. Also on the FEH you get very little optional equipment offered on the base model. i like the navi. screen but I already have a Garmin and for the extra money it would not have real time traffic in Cleveland Any comments with real world driving and handling, mpg's etc would be appreciated on any one who has any of the above combinations. The easy part was deciding to get the limited. I do about 75% highway and live in Northeast Ohio. The weather sucks here about 5 months out of the year and my profession dictates that I must get to work. Right now I am leasing an 07' Edge and want something a little smaller with tighter handling. Love the Fusion but I like being up off of the pavement a little. Thanks in advance for everyone's input.
  6. Hi all, have a few questions. i am currently looking at either a 4 cyl. FWD mariner/escape; premier/limited. in the 44145 zip code, (northeast Ohio) I have an old beater 1995 F150 that I can get 4500.00 for C4C; 2500.00 rebate; also getting the x-plan. I also have 6 months left on an edge lease, would like to also turn it in as do not need two cars. Question: Does Ford currently have a loyalty incentive that I could use on the F150 to utilize in purchasing the escape/mariner; do they have a lease pull ahead incentive that I could use on the currently leased edge. Playing games with different dealers and some of them are telling me different stories regarding the lease and my reply is I am buying a vehicle because I want to, not because I have to, also that since they are getting a minimum of $3500.00 from the feds. with the C4C program that they can use their free money to pay me the wholesale price on the edge to take care of that matter. they are running out of inventory and need good low milage used vehicles which the edge is with only 26K mile, SEL etc. As an aside, debated forever after reading tons of post that the FWD with blizzak snow tires will almost be as good as AWD. thought about the hybrid version but decided to wait a couple of more years for higher price to come down and well as fuel efficiency to go up. Thought anyone and thanks again in advance for your replies!!!
  7. I am looking to lease either a F150 xlt supercrew 4x4 or Explorer XLT 4x4 under the current lease program. Does anyone have any ideas what the current dealer incentives, (not the usual rebates), are in the 44145 zip code. I know they vary dealer to dealer but any infor. would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.
