The assertion that the Mac OS is less secure than windows is a joke. It is Unix based.
Their software (Safari) is riddled with holes, but switching to a real browser, such as Opera, remedies the problem quite nicely.
-
Such a load of crap. Windows has had an indexed search engine since Windows XP. It is off by default because XP was optimized for performance. Vista has it turned on by default because so many people ignored the fact that you COULD turn it on if you wanted to.
XP's indexed search was much slower than finder. I run both operating systems, so I would know.
Anyways, you failed to refute my point about a messy desktop somehow being inefficient. It's not. Artificial hierarchies are antiquated and no longer necessary or particularly useful. Dynamic search is much more efficient.
-
Sorry, but the appearance of the desktop doesn't matter.
It is called symbolic linking and a decent desktop search engine (something Windows still lacks compared to finder).
Artificial hierarchies aren't needed.

A faith-based propaganda delivery system.

Wait...what???
I just woke up from a nap when I wrote that. Not even sure what I meant.

Amazing how much more fun it is to read when you block out the trolls, isn't it?
Sad thing is, I actually agree with what he says a majority of the time. Same with Armada Master. Just can't stand the attitudes, and feel that I'll resort to the same behavior if I attempt to argue with them.
I'm far from a cheerleader, especially seeing as my favorite ford vehicles are the Ranger and the Crown Vic. Doesn't mean that I can't attempt to look at the issues objectively or be nice to other members when I argue.
Oh well. :reading:

You have chosen to ignore all posts from: P71_CrownVic.You have chosen to ignore all posts from: Armada Master. You have chosen to ignore all posts from: P71_CrownVic.
What was that?

No, no...see my sig.
I want to post one thing...but CAN'T!
The thing is, even though you're trying to paint a caricature of the supposed 'cheerleaders', you are still much less ridiculous than you normally are.
And thank god I have AM on ignore. P71 as well, now.

Translation: He's not a :cheerleader: .
Not at all. Borg and Pioneer are both members who question, and disapprove of, many of Ford's moves. However, they do such, most of the time, with supporting logic and fair language. Beyond that, they rarely make personal attacks on other members. P71 fails both of those litmus tests, in my honest opinion. As much as I disagree with Borg and Pioneer much of the time, I at least respect their opinion and where it comes from. I can hardly say the same for P71.

There is actually a small demand for such engines, small, but a demand nonetheless. There are farmers who like to buy E-85.
-
The issue is not that P71 has a different opinion. Diversity is good. The issue is that he, much like 'Sario, has the distinct urge to incite arguments in each thread. He's a troll, plain and simple.
This is not an issue of poor moderation. This an issue about a poor user. He has contributed very little value to the board, and is one of the reasons why myself and many others no longer view or post on the board frequently. Many times I have felt like contributing to the dialogue taking place, but refrained as I knew P71 and other trolls would only use it as further fodder for their rants.
This board grows continually worse the longer he and the other trolls are here. Personally, if it had been my board, they'd been banned a long time ago.

I'd like to know why the poll is even this close...
He's a troll.

P71, it was copped from Maserati, not Kia.

The Ranger would not have nearly as much cargo space, and would most likely get lower gas mileage in a van form.

And yet here...people want wrong wheel drive Lincolns and bread boxes...
I think the people down-under have a much more exciting "Ford V. Chevy" war going on than we do. We have "the battle of the jacked up station wagons", while they have "the battle of the high power, RWD muscle cars".
We can switch anytime...it would be just fine.
Because, as we all know, the Australian Market = American Market!
-
The same could be said for you, Sable boy.
No.
-
Why not just tariff imports so the $ are properly competitive?? We're so quick to throw away American businesses and subsidize import products.
Because that whole Great Depression thing worked out so well for America.

People give Jobs much more credit than due.
But, RJ's comparisons have been apt.

Мы хотем Линколн.
Lincoln will do well in Russia and Eastern Europe if expanded there.

No. I used his post as a springboard to start my own fight.
Seems the fish are biting pretty good today.
Seems the fish are biting pretty -well- today.
Well.

I don't know...he pegged the Taurus right.
The Tundra is barely capable of competing against the current crop. The new Ram and F-150 are much better vehicles; they also have this great feature: a frame that doesn't crumple up like a tin foil ball.

If the Taurus is remaining FWD (I've heard mixed reports), then AWD would be the way to go.
Like both the Blue and Black models.
