  1. Does the '08 torqshift have the external filter? I can't find it on my '08 with a v10 gas.
  2. I think the diesel will have a better trade in than a gas engine (I don't know if it will make $6000 worth of difference). I have an '08 F250 Crew Cab long bed with a V10 gas engine and I get 12.5 MPG in mixed driving 14.5 MPG highway and the engine was $6000 less than the diesel and is also cheaper and easier to maintain. But I the only bad thing I have heard about the 6.4L diesel is fuel economy, everything else seems to be great, lots of power etc.
  3. When I was at the dealer a guy picked up an F450 King Ranch and it was solid black. The salesman told me they took it to the body shop and painted the lower body to match the upper, because thats what the buyer wanted. On the Lariat two tone is an option, my 2008 F250SD is a solid color.
  4. Your situation is very similar to mine, I ordered the F250 V10 torqshift. The only rear end options you have is 4.10, 4.10LS, or 4.30LS. The 3.73 and 4.88 are only available on the diesel. I don't know what the diffrences are between the diesel anf gas torqshift, it probably has to do with shift points etc, due to different powercurve.
  5. Can anyone provide some information about my F250 order. The VIN is 1FTSW20Y08EB14362 I am not sure my dealer is always correct on his timelines. (window sticker PDF if available) Disregard this post I reposted on the front page
  6. An incentive would get me to buy more often and also buy a more expensive truck. The interest on the loan would directly impact the options I add to my order. Plus Dodge was a very close second choice, (actualy cheaper). If I had a local Dodge dealer I liked I would be buying a Dodge. So I guess my loyalty is to both Ford and a local dealer that has a great service department.
  7. I already have post there asking about an X number no answers yet. I just talked to my banker and he can match the current interest rates that Ford offers on the superdutys.
  8. The loyalty plan only applies to 1999 or newer Fords, since I purchased my current F350 new in 1995 I am not a loyal customer, (I thought I was but apparently I was mistaken) and not eligible for this rebate. And since I don't have any friends or neighbors working for Ford I am unable to get an X-plan number. Since I am buying a 2008 superduty I hope that Ford offer some rebates or other incentives.
