Bentleys are only 'boring' to those can't afford to own one (or an RR)...

If I took pictures of every Bentley I saw, you would start to get tired of them too. Hell if I took pictures of every exotic or what you guys consider "rare" car, you would get bored of them.
Something I rarely see down here are Ford GTs. Which is unfortunate because IMHO their owners actually use them instead of buy them for image.
Put it this way. I get way more excited seeing a Z06 Vette than I do a Bentley.
And I am not jealous cause I can't have one. If I had the money to buy one. There would be a ZR1 in my driveway instead. Screw luxury.

G8 is a nice car but the Falcon is better.

I dunno, I happen to like Rolls-Royce's vehicles, but yes, Bentleys are awesome as well.
Have you all ever seen any Phantoms or PDCs (Phantom Drophead Coupe) before? I see them all the time and think they look great.
I love the Rolls in your face look.
The Bentleys have gotten boring if you know what I mean.....Boca....

From hearing what some G8 enthusiasts are feeling...if Ford brought over the Falcon, I could see many of the non retarded G8/Pontiac faithful jumping ship and getting their hands on a Falcon. If Ford announced they will bring the Falcon over I would stop modding this great car of mine to save up and buy a Falcon FPV F6 Typhoon.... Otherwise I'm getting this car cammed and forgetting about the fact that I have a pretty rare car.
Have not heard an G8/Pontiac enthusiasts mention getting a Charger...we sort of hate them lol.

The G8 should be the next Impala so they don't have to waste money making an entirely new car. And the current Impala is shit.
But GM sold it's soul to the devil...

Super lolz also for special Matt's "need the Mondeo stat" typed out on his brother's old 66mhz Pentium with Windows 95 from his parent's basement under the 60 watt lightbulb with the flip switch on the socket hanging from the floor joists, with the half-drywalled studs and bare concrete floor and the rusty flooor drain and the tiny patch of stained remnant carpet, amidst the piles of old newspapers and shoeboxes with unidentifiable objects in them and that fusty smell that damp basements have. The computer's on a card table with a ripped vinyl top with little bits of foam sticking out of it, and he's sitting on one of those old stackable banquet chairs with no armrests and he's blown out the back end of the cushion and there's foam sticking out of that too. The half finished bathroom with a shower curtain for a door and the dark brown hardwater stain in the toilet bowl and the creaky leaky faucets and the deep freeze are his only other companions, and his mom yelling from the top of the stairs, "MATT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR WORK??"
Also, what's up with "Richard" and "I am Rich" over there? Richard seems to be the guy on this board that owns a G8, and I can't for the life of me remember his nickname--only that he's also got (I think) a silver F150, and a signature picture with both of them in his driveway.
Autoblog is a great place for a laugh.

lol yeah that was me on Autoblog. But it looks like my comment came off wrong. I was not bashing the Fusion in any way. I love the AWD/V6 combo. I was just pointing out that G8 prices have fallen a lot. I don't think that guy called a dealer like he said. They have a hard time selling G8s and especially the V6. People are getting G8 GTs for around 27k now.

And I sold the F-150. I'm sad to see it go. I had some very fun times in that truck. But I did not need it and if I need a truck I have my father's 07 F-150.
P.S. Matt does patrol Autoblog...but only for Ford articles....and you know how he posts in them. It's funny though because he also references the G8 in other Ford articles. He likes my car.

I just think it would have had a much better interior and cleaner external lines than the Camaro.
Maybe they could have just called it the G8 Coupe and had a winner, easier sell than the Sport truck..
I agree.
A lot of GTO owners might have upgraded to that. Or even F-body fans. I still can't get used to the new Camaro. It looks to outrageous.
IMO the Coupe 60 is one of the best looking 2+2 coupes I have ever seen. I might have a little bias lol.

Ah ha, it is you with the G8! Somehow in one of the threads, you (and your G8) came up, but I couldn't remember for sure if it was you or not. How come you removed the picture of it from your signature?
I sort of let people on the internet get to me(a few people on this board) when I was arguing about how I was let down by the new Mustang and it's lack of substantial power upgrades. One of the members thought I was a GM fanboy(which I'm not) so I gave up on the board for a little.
I still look at the board every so often and it seems Ford is doing very well.
I guess I'm back. What was this thread that I was brought up in? lol

I have never seen that and honestly it looks pretty sweet. I like it a lot better than the new Camaro. Oh well...the Camaro is going to be the last fun thing out of GM for a while.

From what I understand Pontiac is just to be the G8(very few)/Solstice/G6
Looks like my car is going to be pretty damn rare. I see more Bentleys down here...no wait...name an exotic and I have seen more of them than another G8 lol. I'm fine with that...people always want to know what I am driving.

Not bad? From who's perspective. I come from the "no compromises" school of thought. Personally, I wish the mustang was a couple hundred pounds lighter. When I get my 2011 GT, the first thing I will do is swap out the K member and suspension parts for tubular Chromoly. Then I will replace the entire exhaust, rip out all sound deadening material, swap the brakes, and replace as much sheet metal as I can with composites. Hell, I may even swap out the glass for polycrylic. I'll probably leave the AC in, as it is hot as hell down here. But the stereo can go as well. Front seats can be swapped out, rear seats deleted... Etc. Etc. Etc.
Maybe I'm crazy about my cars performance, but the fact is that almost all cars are pigs these days. Why? Because people like you have been rationalizing 100lbs here and 45lbs there for far too long. Safety standards aside, our cars need a diet.

you can go ahead and be the .01% of people that rip everything out of their new 2011 Mustang GT....but for most people it would be nice to get IRS and a little more power

Can someone show me some confirmed weight figures for the new 5.0L Mustang? When I saw the 38xx and 4xxx weight figures I was pissed. Please tell me they are less.
EDIT: I see they updated it...phew! That scared me for a little. A coupe should not weigh that much. That's why even though I like the LS series engines, I don't really like the new Camaro. I have a sedan and expected a porker.
