Ford-150

Can someone show me some confirmed weight figures for the new 5.0L Mustang? When I saw the 38xx and 4xxx weight figures I was pissed. Please tell me they are less. EDIT: I see they updated it...phew! That scared me for a little. A coupe should not weigh that much. That's why even though I like the LS series engines, I don't really like the new Camaro. I have a sedan and expected a porker.

If I took pictures of every Bentley I saw, you would start to get tired of them too. Hell if I took pictures of every exotic or what you guys consider "rare" car, you would get bored of them. Something I rarely see down here are Ford GTs. Which is unfortunate because IMHO their owners actually use them instead of buy them for image. Put it this way. I get way more excited seeing a Z06 Vette than I do a Bentley. And I am not jealous cause I can't have one. If I had the money to buy one. There would be a ZR1 in my driveway instead. Screw luxury.

From hearing what some G8 enthusiasts are feeling...if Ford brought over the Falcon, I could see many of the non retarded G8/Pontiac faithful jumping ship and getting their hands on a Falcon. If Ford announced they will bring the Falcon over I would stop modding this great car of mine to save up and buy a Falcon FPV F6 Typhoon.... Otherwise I'm getting this car cammed and forgetting about the fact that I have a pretty rare car. Have not heard an G8/Pontiac enthusiasts mention getting a Charger...we sort of hate them lol.

The G8 should be the next Impala so they don't have to waste money making an entirely new car. And the current Impala is shit. But GM sold it's soul to the devil...

lol yeah that was me on Autoblog. But it looks like my comment came off wrong. I was not bashing the Fusion in any way. I love the AWD/V6 combo. I was just pointing out that G8 prices have fallen a lot. I don't think that guy called a dealer like he said. They have a hard time selling G8s and especially the V6. People are getting G8 GTs for around 27k now. Richard is my real name. And I sold the F-150. I'm sad to see it go. I had some very fun times in that truck. But I did not need it and if I need a truck I have my father's 07 F-150. P.S. Matt does patrol Autoblog...but only for Ford articles....and you know how he posts in them. It's funny though because he also references the G8 in other Ford articles. He likes my car.

I agree. A lot of GTO owners might have upgraded to that. Or even F-body fans. I still can't get used to the new Camaro. It looks to outrageous. IMO the Coupe 60 is one of the best looking 2+2 coupes I have ever seen. I might have a little bias lol.

I sort of let people on the internet get to me(a few people on this board) when I was arguing about how I was let down by the new Mustang and it's lack of substantial power upgrades. One of the members thought I was a GM fanboy(which I'm not) so I gave up on the board for a little. I still look at the board every so often and it seems Ford is doing very well. I guess I'm back. What was this thread that I was brought up in? lol

Holy Shit! I have never seen that and honestly it looks pretty sweet. I like it a lot better than the new Camaro. Oh well...the Camaro is going to be the last fun thing out of GM for a while.

From what I understand Pontiac is just to be the G8(very few)/Solstice/G6 Looks like my car is going to be pretty damn rare. I see more Bentleys down here...no wait...name an exotic and I have seen more of them than another G8 lol. I'm fine with that...people always want to know what I am driving.

I'm kinda pissed they canceled the G8 ST. I had a friend that was really considering getting one. He loved my car but wanted a bed.

ok... it still would be nice to get IRS in their i don't like putting weight that does not serve a purpose, IRS serves a purpose you can go ahead and be the .01% of people that rip everything out of their new 2011 Mustang GT....but for most people it would be nice to get IRS and a little more power BTW this new mustang weighs more...

oh i don't know i have to drive through the ghetto to get to and from work and the looks you get from the "no-jobs" at the various liqour stores..... i drive a big four door car....they love that stuff although i can kill the car if it ever gets stolen by calling OnStar

true but thats because there are some people who are jealous that it is the most iconic vehicle ever thats my honest opinion....i don't know anybody who does not know what a Ford Mustang is lol only 5% of people know what a G8 is....probably less
