Certainly not me. I look forward to going to buckets from my current bench. I never liked nor do I often carry a third person up front now. I welcome the lack of that opportunity in the Taurus.

My dealer says it is up to Ford. Should I be asking him to verify allocation and where in line am I? I wouldn't really know whether he is bs'ing me or not. It is 8 weeks today since the receipt date.

It hasn't been serialized at the factory yet for building and the vehicle order processing center told me the order was unscheduled /clean.

When VOPC is contacted they say my vehicle order in "UNSCHEDULED, CLEAN" What does that mean? Thanks

It goes to show what I know. Integrated key fob... new terminology for the guy who's been waiting almost eight weeks now for our integrated key fob car. Oops that slipped out.

The 2008 Taurus does not have a fob as the locks/panic buttons are part of the key itself. I would assume the X would be the same so at most you would have one fob.

I am beginning to think that it was an allocation issue as I see another Taurus buyer tracking his '08 order and it was serialized the day after the receipt date, for me, nearly 7 weeks and no serialization.

The person that took my order for an X-Plan sale is a sales manager and should know better. I am a first time orderer so I'll admit that I that I have been working on my patience. Other members have been very sympathetic to me being a newbie buyer. The dealer hasn't received their first Taurus yet so it's not like I am "teased" by the Taurii sitting on the lot. I called VOPC today and the lady said that "it will be pulled" and to call "concepts" on Friday. What does this mean? Can I call "concepts" (whatever the number is)? I see so many here in the forums that have a serialized date so soon after the receipt date. I don't see others checking on Taurus order though.
