  1. AllDATAdiy.com has a charge base system, which has been helpful on all my cars & trucks up to 2014 haven't looked into the new 1 yet. It's like $20.00 a year I think it could be longer, was very helpful on my Jeep & older ford edge. shows how to take things apart, codes prices on parts some parts #. Helm is a lot more complete but mostly loading & disc`s no more book form of the shop & electrical wiring its too bad it was very helpful & you could always go back & forth on pg`s that was like a few hundred now your talking thousands

Dealer Tech says no Forscan for 23, He has had a problem with 1 customer who he knows personally who had a rapid flash on the dashboard only but the outside turns were flashing normally, it also had a boss plow add. After looking in with the Ford tools he couldn't find anything & looked @ the ELC & the BMC nothing was wrong & after looking and a key cycle it was working, if he could have tried FS it would have been easier to see what was going on. I have not used Forscan so can't speak to that all this is just what I was told, he didn't even know how to bill his time for the warranty work. He also said Ford upgraded their battery to AGM which is a better battery & something about the acid part 

  3.  another reason not to be wearing a seatbelt while driving carefully is when you are snowplowing, have you ever tried snowplowing a lot during a storm with your belt on, not 1 bit comfortable or practicable you are constantly moving around & looking back & forth for what or who jumps behind you, You would be surprised how many people still try to get behind you just to get a parking spot or around you with strobes flashing in all direction. The best 1 was in the middle of the 2015 winter when we had storm after storm a guy parks his white van in the middle of a closed lot & the snow is blowing around like crazy & he looks @ you when you blow your horn as he walks away ! so yes there are reasons why a person needs the seatbelt chime off !!

  4. yes, you need to go back as the others have said, you taped into a feed wire or a constant feed from the relay or fuse block. take a 12V test light or meter & have someone turn on & off the switch you would like to use. Ford could marl & make the wires a bit longer, that would help out a lot. Good luck Please let us know what you did or find out!

Yes he did say it the way they have the new computers are set up to talk to one another, he was pretty confident that at some point they would end up having a way, to do the same things as the 22 & lower but he also wasn't sure on how much would be changeable since Ford is where it's out there, it's weird to her a Ford tech say he could get info faster with the Forscan then the Ford readers, In a month or so I am sure they will have some stuff working

  7. I went to my dealer on the way home, my truck is now 1 hour away in the rail yard waiting for its truck ride to the dealer. Should be here by the end of the week they say, the new system was cool to see it showed it being unloaded & moving into the line for loading. It had a blue line showing where it was all day long as it moved just like the nav does on the screen.

      If those aren't LED is the outer ring in white led? with that grill it's an upgraded grill since it's not your XL or XLT grill & those were the only 2 where shown with the 2 bar grill. I like that grill a lot better than the XLT grill, it just makes the front end look that much more likable than just the separate center grill & the halogen light hanging off the end, I would like to see if that grill could go on my XLT it would look so much nicer in my opinion. I also thought they would have LEDs front & rear since that was in the PKG if you have LEDs in the front you would think they would include the taillights also. They did say @ the beginning you could have the LEDs as an option on every trim level, but when I ordered mine, you couldn't get them in the XLT & that's not what they were saying. Just like the XM & NAV were described as being part of the 360 camera PKG but now they say only in the XLT Plus PKG & only in an SC & CC, not an RC so that was a letdown & was one of the reasons for adding the upgraded radio with the 360 camera PKG. I don't understand why you need the CC or the SC to get the 12" radio but not in the RC when all the stuff is there. Do you think they are running low on parts so getting the truck made without is better than no truck waiting to be made with LEDs? I am in the Boston, MA area & I haven't seen any 23 or heard anyone saying they got theirs so far. I guess mine might be the 1st around here to be delivered & actually be able to see in person what you actually get compared to the order guide & see one in person. the update says it will be @ the dealer on the 10th only they know for sure, I will check in with the dealer today & see if they can tell me where it is along the route here. overall how do you like the truck & how are others reacting to the new design? The pic on my pg shows the truck the way it was going to look like as per other pictures I have seen of XLT`s even the inside pictures were in line with the guide & ad pictures that were shown around

It also could have been another bulb because you shouldn`t have to go to the dealer for the fast flush, that is why it's there to let you know you have a bulb-out instead of driving around for days or weeks without brake or turn signals. It also could be how long it was out & the element was across another so it was like a short. But you are correct you shouldn't need a trip to the dealer for a reset after you change a bad bulb.

  11. No power pak on board, Is there a way to see where it is along the shipping route? Now even with the upgraded radio PKG & the camera PKG you still don't get xm or nav I thought that is why you upgraded the radio & added the camera PKG it says that under the XLT PKG but then shows only on SC & CC, not RC`s the only difference is the extra door so why?

  12.  I didn't get any updates until tonight, It says mine was built on 3/26/23 & is now shipped as of 3/28/23 & should be at the dealer between 4/10/23 & 4/14/23. My truck is a Reg cab 350 XLT 8' bed with plow /camper pkg, duel battery, duel alternators, limited slip rear, cab lights, led bed lights, bed liner drop-in, rear wheel well liners, 360 camera PKG, remote start, XLT PKG 631A. We will see when it gets here! I was surprised when the E-M showed up since it never said it was being scheduled just those 3 steps simultaneously. Does anyone else have a delivery date?

  13. I would give them a look-see, I have had calipers seize in a matter of days for whatever reason the newer trucks like to eat up the calipers & rotors. I live in NE so yes there is snow salt rain all that stuff & if you don't keep an eye on them they just will out of the blue pull hard to the right or left & you need to shake the loss. My 99 was the last year I had without brake or rust issues. I like when it goes in for oil or sticker & they tell you it's a little rusty under there. I always say you tell me what I need to do to stop it & I will do it. All I get well the rest of the truck is in showroom condition & I tell them the truck is treated the same in & out top & bottom. It`s the front axel & driveshafts & a little on the rear axel, frame is good body, not even a nick of rust  the clips that hold the brake lines front & rear are rusty

I am still waiting for my F-350 XLT Reg Cab 8' box SRW, I was also told by the way I ordered that it would most likely be built earlier than expected to be ready if it shows up sooner than later & still nothing just 1 update from ford themselves. So I don't understand why they can't get a pretty basic truck built how are they jumping up to the higher trim levels? Just wait & see I guess!

       E-brake or not it shouldn't roll that much & I mean not much like a 2/8 of an " after it stops

    I would make a service appointment either way not safe. I am in MA & yes I have watched cars in a lot across from me in the winter when ice & snow has been on the ground & seen them move slowly a good cars length or more that's understandable,  just by parking it in a normal way it shouldn't roll just my opinion
