How about a new Bronco about the size of the old Bronco II, but equipped with a 4.0 V-6, manual trans, manual transfer case, manual front hubs, and solid axles stuffed with lockers front and back. It's time for a manufacturer to build a real off-road machine, and not just an oversized station wagon.
