Kudos to the designers, I think the new grills look great. It addresses my dislike of the current snout, and makes the front end more horizontally oriented than before.
Throw in the new engine and tranny combo, and I'm probably looking at my next.

2018 Ford F-150 debuts with fresh face, diesel engine
"...the 2018 F-150 will have seven new grilles (some body colored, some chrome, some mesh), six new wheel designs (ranging from 17 to 22 inches in diameter), and three new appliqués for the tailgate (for King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited models)."
"Five engines will eventually be available in the 2018 F-150 – some new, some familiar. The big story, of course, is the confirmation of a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, which will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission."

A nation of lazy, complaining, fat asses.
My 7 year old can open and close the non-powered sliders on our Mazda5 just fine.

According to Ford F-150 marketing manager Mark Grueber, relative to the all-new 3.7-liter V-6 entry level engine, the 5.0-liter V-8 will carry a $1,000 premium over the 3.7. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 will carry a $750 premium over the 5.0 and the 6.2-liter V-8 will carry a $1,995 premium over the 5.0.

Yes, according to yesterday's Distribution News Bulletin, the Job #1 date for the 2012 Focus is listed as 01/31/2011. As such, I wouldn't expect the new Focus to arrive at dealerships until at least March with April arrivals being more realistic.
Thank you for the reply.
The knowledge shared on this forum is amazing.

Thanks MKII.
Does that equate to a March/April timeframe when they actually start showing up on dealer lots?

Looks great! That interior is phenomenal.

"The last time we looked at [the G8], we decided that we would continue to import it as a Chevrolet. It is kind of too good to waste,"

FocusFanatics forumite 2004SVTAutoXer was out with his lady in Royal Oak, MI when he spotted this rally-ready, turbocharged, M-plated, Euro-spec 2009 Ford Focus RS. Needless to say, he was a bit excited. So are we.

That's great news!
I've yet to see any 2010s in my area (Pacific NW).
I wonder how many of this months non-hybrid sales are '09s with the $3500 rebate.

Thing ain't going to outsell the Accord or Camry, but it was at least nice to see MT hauling out the 'maybe they were afraid of the competition' line with Toyota, seeings how they blasted it across the front cover of the last issue (Genesis vs. Mustang)
I agree, and its a shame, because the Fusion/Milan sure seems to be the better car.
Another potential battle the Fusion/Milan has is, that under the current wording for the proposed 'Cash for Clunkers' bill, it would receive a smaller credit than both the Accord and the Camry, since it's assembled in Mexico, rather than in the US:
Fusion/Milan ($4,000) (Mexico)
Accord($5,000) (Ohio)
Camry($5,000) (Kentucky)

GM Insider is claiming that GM is trying to get out of NUMMI:
Reports are out this afternoon that GM is going to try to build another product at the Toyota joint-venture plant, but GMI sources say otherwise. According to our sources, GM's first priority in talks with Toyota is going to be to get out of the JV entirely, but if they are unable to get out of the JV with Toyota they will elect to build a non-Pontiac product there. Currently the NUMMI plant builds the Pontiac Vibe, which is based on the Toyota Corolla platform. GMI was also told that if GM ends up in bankruptcy, the NUMMI JV will be part of "BadGM" in the split of the company.
