  1. I went back to the dealer today armed with a x-plan PIN and full intention of purchasing a new Limited AWD, but we didnt get too far into that. The dealer had lopped $1000 off of invoice by the time I got there (he updated my paperwork before I got there), and I ended up getting another $500 and then an alignment. Ended up with a deal I couldnt refuse. Ended up under $30k INCLUDING the headrest DVD system. I was looking at a 2008 Limited AWD around $32m with an x-plan PIN. The 2008 additional features - Sync and chrome wheels - werent that appealing to the wife (this will be her car) so we saved the extra money (we would have had to put a DVD system in the 2008 also). Happier than a pig in slop. Great little vehicles! 1ZVFT82H765138047.pdf 1ZVHT82H965137460.pdf
  2. So what I think I hear is that the remote start capabilities are in the vehicle, you just need the keyfob to make it work (which I did notice was a separate keyfob). I looked up the headrest DVD. That appears to be aftermarket Ford setup. Anyone know anything about the garage door opener on the driver visor?
  3. Thanks guys. I had come to the same conclusion assuming they wouldnt move on the price. While my wife is by no means short, she did like the power gate on the Limited. I have a 2005 Dodge 1500. Hardcored truck. I would have had a F150 except this same dealer didnt play nice with me. Even I want an Edge now... they are very cool.
  4. They arent listed on the Ford website. Are they new for 2008? What other options are new for 2008? I think I saw a built-in garage door opener on the driver visor? Is the Limited something new for 2008? What is the difference between a Limited and a SEL+? Thanks! I know, a lot of questions, but we are so close to purchase and I want to be sure we have what we want. Thanks again!
  5. Went shopping for a CUV for the wife's birthday. Even thought she was a die-hard Grand Cherokee fan, she didnt like it (okay not so much a CUV). She is in love with the Edge. A local dealership had a 2007 that had just come off a manager demo - meaning the manager drove it as his primary vehicle. Anyway, I went to purchase this vehicle... I could barely get them to budge from the MSRP. Have I missed something? It wasnt anything special. It was an AWD with Sirius, painted wheels... and not much else. I wanted it for the leather and the AWD. I know that they can TECHNICALLY sell the car as new, but I saw it before they cleaned it up... looked like someone lived in it. I dont get it... am I expecting too much or are they?
