Update, we put a deposit on an 05 Eb today w/ 78,400 estate green, nav ,DVD, sunroof, power 3rd row, heated cooled seats. i got them to put on4 new tires and 4 wheel alignment, give us new floor mats all around for their asking price of $16,995! sounds good to me? what are your thoughts? Doug

thanks for the input, I'm making an offer today on an 05 EB, White, power 3rd row, heated/cooled seats, sunroof, 76,000 miles, no nav or DVD, brand new tires and brakes all around. they are asking $18,900, I'm going for $17,000. my mechanic said offer low considering it does need about 800-1000 of paint work especially on the front lip of the hood and of course around the plate frame. if they say no my mechanic hits the auction in CT. every wednesday and assures us he will locate one with all that we want. Nobody has a response? Concerning the Wedgewood blue ,no deal. too much damage inc a missing piece of the grill trim, rusting around the plate too. abused interior. If anyone has suggestions lets hear them.

Hello everyone, i am shopping around for a 2nd gen Expy as our current Edge will be terming it's lease this March.we need more room and we do miss our 99 that was traded at the time we leased the Edge. I've narrowed our search down to model year 05-06 as these fall into our price range. We are only looking at Eddie Bauer's, and they must have moonroof, mileage under 80,000, power 3rd row, heated /cooled front seats, and preferably White exterior. My question is what are some of the flaws I should be aware of? Do all Eddie Bauers come with the tan interior? And are the heated/ cooled seats an option or are they put on all EB's? I've found 2 05's in our region that we are checking out. One is a white EB with 76,000 miles with brand new brakes and tires asking price at dealer, 18,900. the other is a Wedgewood Blue EB with 72,000 miles, has a rear DVD, asking price 17,900. The White one has some bubbles in the paint around the rear plate plastic surround and a couple spots on the lip of the hood, also there is some unattractive blue film on all the door moldings right under the glass. a body man in my town said not a big deal to fix probably in the $500 range. We are going to see the Blue one today and report back here asap. any advise will be appreciated Doug

Hey remember me? Probably not, but the family and i are starting to look at new rides to replace the Edge next March. I myself have put a 11 flex w/ boost first on MY list. the wife really likes the 11 Sienna, but wants to try every make and model with a 3rd row, gotta have room for the GSD!!!!!!!!! she will be 3 this July. Do you know of any major changes coming on the 11's? Do you know when a major change of the exterior will come? We haven't driven any of the Flexes yet but plan to during the summer months, roads up here in Mass still suck. Our Edge is still @ the dealership waiting for replacement rails for the Vista roof, the glass stopped closing on Sunday, I guess the grease dried up, who knew? Is this a prob for the Flex w/ the Vista? Thanks Doug

Hi, Yes you will need to go on the X-plan forum here and request one for an Edge. To get an X-Plan price go to www.forddirect.com and build an Edge just the way you would option it out. Then do a dealer search and find one in inventory to get the VIN #, then post that up here with the zip code of the dealer and someone will get the X-Plan price which is usually a couple hundred either higher or LOWER than dealer invoice! Usually an emplyee can only get 4 pins a year which they can give out to friends and family. This is how I just got my 08 Limited. I just picked up my Edge today and I drove it shortly tonight. I too would like to have these switches lit!!! Actually I have to bring the car back to the dealer next week to replace the entire headliner, after I discovered a small tear in the said liner. If they will run this wire now's the time!!! Can we get a diagram to show what's needed? I want these switches illuminated

Well I picked up the Edge today!! Looks awesome :happy feet: Only thing is I need to get it back to them in a few days, I discovered a tear in the headliner right above the driver, above the pillar. It's about 1/4-1/2" long and it was NOT there on Saturday, What the !! I immediately turned the car around and went in and told my sales manager. They will have to order a completely new headliner The car looks great, drives great, our DVD players fit great around each headrest, not liking how some radio stations that came in good for our other car don't come in too good?not sure what that is all about???? Sirius is tinny sounding. I wish there were lights to illuminate the Vista Roof switches. I haven't found out yet how to connect the IPod to the car? Can't wait for the bumper saver and the cargo mat to come in. I'll take some pics soon, Enjoying it so far. Doug

In the Accesories thread on this forum, there is a supplier that sells a adhesive backed rubber strip that covers the flat part of the rear bumper, you know the part that just asks for scratches a nicks, like my dog will produce!!! Doug

Cool! Yeah I can't tell you how many people at the Dealer came out to see this Edge. Even the owner of the Dealership commented how he's never seen this White Sand with the Med. Stone gut!!! He is now in the process of ordering one up for his showroom! I'll be driving it home tommorow afternoon , and the WeatherTech cargo mat has been ordered as well as the rear bumper cover, unfortunately I already noticed 3 semi deep scratches in that bumper. The bumper cover will be covering this!! I'll let you know all about it soon. Doug

Stone Leather int., Vista, Rear Cargo Mgmt., Sirius, All weather Mats, 18" Chrome Clads. X-Plan price of $33,000, $2,250 in Rebates, $3000 trade, 36 Month Lease, 16,500 miles a year, paying TTL ,Aqu. Fee, $75 Doc fee up front w/ first months payment. Roughly $350 a Month payment, Feel good about that. Doug
