According to Motor Trend, the 5.0 will be an "Evolution" of the original architecture...
That motor should have never been retired in the first place, it should have been re-engineered when it was still in production. It had potential to produce lots of power, and it was even fuel efficient. It was a superior motor compared to the 4.6. (I guess Ford realizes the greatness of the motor now)
As for the EcoBoost.....
I would line up today to purchase an TTV-6 powered Mustang. Shoot, I would even be interested in a TT4 Powered Mustang. And I have a good feeling that I wouldn't be the only person interested in one of these.
Heck.... make the TT4 convertible a hybrid. :shades:
