  1. Just an update...This problem was solved acouple weeks after this posting was posted. The problem was the negative cable on the battery was shorting out. Fixed wire and no problem since
  2. so I was driving my truck one day and pulled up to the gas station to the fuel pump..didn't pump gas or anything..just parked at pumps in shade...truck sat there maybe 30 mins or so...when i went to leave..the truck just went click...couldn't get it to start..it acted like it had a dead battery...but all my lights were bright as ever...so then i thought starter...so anyways I rolled truck backwards and popped the clutch and it started right up. So while driving the truck home it started getting high oil pressure..but wasn't smoking or making any unusual sounds...ran like normal...but I have replaced starter solenoid on inner driver fender, starter, battery. And the truck is still doing same thing. Can someone try and lead me to my problem. Thanks in advance
  3. looking into purchasing a new F150....looking to get the new 5.4L FFV....Anyone know when this new alternative fuel will be available for purchase for these new trucks? What exactly is the difference in this new fuel? anyone know where they may start selling this fuel? any word on starting price per gallon?
  4. I am debating on which truck i want to purchase...but right now i have questions about the ford Ranger. If I decide to go with the Ranger...i want a Vista Blue 2008 Ford Ranger Sport Supercab - 4door. I am wanting the 2WD with the 4.0L V6. I called my dealer today and was told that I could NOT get the 4.0L V6 unless i bought the Fx4 - 4x4...can someone verify this for me. Thank You.
  5. well we only got 4 plugs changed so far...now the truck is running rough and service engine light is on with code P0403...Believe this code has to do with EGR circuit malfunction...can anyone help????
  6. My dad owns a 2001 F150 Lariat with 5.4L. Truck has 109K miles. The truck started to run as if there was garbag in the gas tank...so we put some fuel cleaner in it and it ran perfect. Then last night the thing started skipping and doesnt have any power or anything..so we were going to replace the plugs today. Got into replacingthe plugs and pulled the boot or coil off the plug and one is full of antifreeze. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a cracked head since they are aluminum or cracked intake?....the truck was just paid off last year. please respond ASAP. thank you
