I have a 2002 Ford Escape 4WD with a 3.0 L motor. My question that I can't seem to get answered anywhere is- is the '02 ford 3.0 liter engine a "clearence" motor, meaning if the timing chain breaks the pistons anf valves won't smash into each other. Thanks!
