Yes the chairman gets paid seven days a week. Is there production running on the weekends? He may not be at the plant for every single hour but is on call and must come in 24/7 if needed. The chairman at our local has worked 17 hour days and some days gets a call to the plant at 1am in the morning and shows up. Though not on the clock he still comes in. So if I put in 14 hours mon thriugh fri. and I decide to leave the plant it does not always mean they are skipping out. At the end of the week I promise most chairmans are not getting the pay for the time they put in. example, all the phone calls, talikng to employees at stores when you run into employees, you give then the time for there questions and I am not on the clock but that is what he raised his hand for. Just like an onion you peel the first layer to find many more layers and the story continues........
