I just picked up my 2009 FEH Limited 4x2 Loaded last week. My thoughts after a tank of gas:
I averaged 35.2 MPG in pure suburban driving. (I was trying too, so that might go down some).
If you have concerns about a $35,000 truck not displaying your phones text messages, there are phones that are compatible that might cost you a few hundred bucks to switch to. ( a minor fee for something so important to you)
IMO with 'A' plan, the Hybrid Tax credit, the better MPG's and the resale value of the FEH, it was a no brainer over the NON-Hybrid escape. (would I do it without 'A' plan? Yup)
The Nav system with Sirius Travelink and SYNC blow any system away that I have seen so far. Voice recognition and capability is huge. My Ipod connected right in, my phone synced up no problem, all while never cracking the manual (Note: Gen x'er here..) Has a USB input for external hard drives, and a 110v plug.
Factory Warranty on the Hybrid battery is 8 years, 100k mi. Pretty solid there.
Throw in the fact that I am supporting American workers at Kansas City and driving an American Car, I was all in.
Good Luck in your decision.
