I'd rather have Randy up there than J.V.. Trades are allways crying about something, usually its having to do thier job. If the contract is that cut and dry I would call Regional since it seems that Brad won't do his job. If we get a new engine the tradesmen can go back to working 7 12's and living beyond thier means.

I took the buyout in 03-08, and thanks to the economy tanking, and me not being as ready as I should have, I am in deep doo doo, and
find that I am in need of a decent paying job.If the opportunity occurs, can retiree's return to the MAP / Wayne ISA to work? I can't
find a job around here, it's either my age, 55, or because I'm a union man ?? I go to plenty of interviews, but no callbacks.....

I saw Lenny driving a stacker through assembly today and people were literally clapping as he drove by, people are happy that someone finally stood up to King Pinelli and Pinelli finally didn't get his way!!! You see when the cards aren't stacked up in Tony's favor as they have been at Local 400 for 10 years, Justice finally prevailed. Now they need to get rid of the other two Officers that are retired and double dipping. It seems that the dark cloud that has been over Local 400 has been lifted and the sun is starting to come out.

Just had state of the plant. By 2012 our numbers are going down so much that they'll prolly close the doors. But you never know maybe they will put a new engine in our plant. You guys might as well come up and at least ride it out for a couple of years. Its a nice area to live in. I live about 20 min from the plant. If I were coming up I would research the local schools. I've seen some of the posts on here from Romeo High grads and its scary what a piss poor job the schools did.

I know this has been said before, But I believe it is worth repeating. If Ford Mo. Co. is serious in this resession to lower the rank and file, They need to stimulate the buyouts not down size the amounts.
With the jsp being gone they have no incentive to up the buyouts.

I thought you were smarter than that Condor. Know your facts before you open your mouth. Op 130 was down for almost a day, that is why we ran out of parts. It is NOT a people issue, the machines are old. Walk over and count the 35 and 65 in process floats and you will see that we are running, but we can't make finish parts when the finish end is down. Lastly, midnights is not set up to run finish parts unless absolutely necessary.
Production is going to 4 10s May 11th.
I can think of three people you have over there on mids that are some of the laziest p.o.s. that I've known in the plant.

I heard they scrapped the 4 10s for assembly because they wanted to make friday a regular day so they could play thier fucking games with the production schedule. The crank dept. has run so badly that dayshift assembly is off for another week. Don't know what they are doing over there but its pretty pathetic that they can't make any parts with three f'n shifts. I heard the midnight shift has a bunch of lazy fuckers over there that think they are entitled to sleep every night.

Why is it NOBODY FUCKING GETS THIS!!!! These companies are pulling this shit to get back all the concessions by the union. Its all lies. Not one of these companies are broke. They have companies all over the world. For example, Fuck, I mean Fords, Fusion sells hundreds of thousands of cars in the US. Fucks, oops, I mean Fords dosn't count it as a US sale because they make them in Fuxico, I mean, Mexico. Any non US made car that sells in the US is not counted here. They realize, 1) were stupid. 2) We roll over without a fight, 3) They can pull the wool over our eyes now because of "Global Confusion". Sales are down, but we have a fraction of the workforce we had before. Dozens of shut down plants. There all still making money. Do you know GM took 1.5 billion of the Government money that WE gave them to fuck us with, to invest in GM, Japan? GM went through 13 Billion in a couple weeks. Is that suspicious to anyone?? They say they need more, If thier burning through money at that rate, what kind of fucking genious would let them have any more money? Its too bad, remember the Boston Tea Party? A few guys, fed up with the way things were, were having a couple beers. They started talking, decided to have a town meeting, all agreed to go down to the docks and throw all the tea in the water. Don't know if that helps.
However, I know for a fact that there are '04's at DTP and Romeo.
