  1. Yes we live where we have snow and the air filter was changed just before the check engine light came on. Cleaning the air box out during snow conditions can be a daily event, know of 9 other trucks with the same code. The frustration is the driveability issue and Ford's failure to communicate back to their Service Departments when and what the fix might be!! These trucks aren't grocery getters they're work trucks and this is going on 2 months since diagnosis
  2. Check engine light has been on since Dec 14 2010, dealer informed me that no fix available at this time....will call me when "update is available from Ford" The engine lacks power and the DEF consumption has dropped...filled the DEF tank on Nov 27 2010... 15,000 km later and the dash monitor states the Exhaust Fluid Level is OK Hooked on to a empty 20 foot trailor...definitely NOT like before....need to pick your spot to pass any slow moving vehicles!!! What long term engine and exhaust system damage is being done while FORD finds a fix??? What is with the air box...stopped to assist a gentlemen with a 6.7....air box packed full of snow....5000 km on his truck and 3 weeks old. This reminds me of the 6.0 litre fiasco in 2004....and they say they rigorously tested the 6.7 before launch. :shades: :titanic:
  3. The dealer informed me the truck I ordered was being shipped back to the factory for the rejected spray in box liner...ordered Aug 15
