The dealer did mention that they may be doing a QC hold so they can have a clean launch. I have no problem with them doing that, just let us know.

When I talked to my dealer this weekend they printed me out the status: Unscheduled - Clean: Dec-04-2008 Scheduled week - Feb-12-2009 Scheduled day - Feb-18-2009 Sent to Plant - Feb-23-2009 This is the first time I've ever ordered a vehicle so I have no clue how long it takes to build and ship. The dealer said 10 days for shipping...

Just got off the phone with my dealer It was invoiced on Feb 23 and is in route. They listed 14 days for transit but she said that they count on 21. So...... By the 3rd week of March I should have mine!!!! Now, where would one get an X plan pin and do I need to give the VIN?

Yea, the interior of the Camry is bland. It's more of a grandmother car than a contemporary family sedan. The new Fusions cockpit looks great.

An interesting article. As for the mileage disparity from EPA to real world, I wonder if they actually USED the smart gauges or just just drove with the typical lead foot... Also, the Camry is PLAIN, BORING, and just not attractive!

Well, just got off the phone with my dealer. She said there's no VIN yet, but she's going to do some digging and see what she can find. I also asked about any showroom stock and the only thing they have ordered right now is a hybrid. She said they're going to try and offload the last of their '09's first. I would still love to test drive one as soon as I can
