  1. Knowing that is was a Candian dealer didn't help me look it up, that did help me confirm that it was probably your vehicle though. Dealer codes - ALL dealer codes have 6 digits in them. They left off the proceding zero. 0A8100 with that order number, yields a V6 Mustang ordered by Terrace Ford Lincoln Sales Inc in Ontario.

It is still listed Unscheduled-Clean as of July 30th, meaning the order has been received, successfully edited, and is awaiting scheduling action. No VIN and no updates.

  2. Oh I hear ya about new toys. :)

Don't be surprised if it gets bumped again. From things I am hearing lingering in the grapevine is that there are some production issues surrounding MyFord / MyLincoln touch. Since the Edge & MKX are the first to arrive with that technology they aren't releasing them until every issue is 110% squashed. Many Egde / MKX orders that have been produced are just sitting idle for this reason with no updates in status.

Of course that is what I hear, but who really knows for sure what is actually true.

  3. Okay this is what it says:

In Order Processing; Scheduled to Day (Aug-24-2010) ... and this is as of August 6th.

The definition of "Scheduled to Day" is: The order has been assigned a build day and a rotation number. It is 'locked-in' and cannot be amended.

ETA the week of September 8th.

  4. No update at all since "Produced as of Monday, 26th. ETA the week of August 7th." No shipping information at all, that means it hasn't gone anywhere and it still sitting at the plant somewhere. Maybe there is an issue they are working out or there are some special items they have to handle, I have no idea.

Your dealer should at least know this much. I can't believe they have the ignorance to not know how to look this info up - then again maybe I can - that or they really don't want to help you.

  5. Good question, not exactly sure how it works, but I'd have to say that is scheduled depending on the plant and the shipper. It would depend on what their production schedule is like combined with whatever metric in the system tells them the typical time it takes to get a vehicle delivered under certain met scenarios from that plant to your dealership. I am sure it is production schedule plus some formula - that is why the delivery is always listed ETA ... Estimated Time of Delivery ... and that day that spits out is always supposed ot be told to the customer it will come in "the week of" whatever day. So, any day that week, plus and minus days depending on outside factors, etc. :)

You are going to have one kickass vehicle when it comes in. :shift: :happy feet:
