The corner guard is flexible but I grabbed a length of it and twisted it hard and it does not break. It not rigid like Plexiglas that might snap. Regardless I did double up on the handle and moved it to the bottom of the license plate. It was hard to reach in its top position.

The tint installer explained that sometimes the seal is not tight against the glass and he can squeeze in the paper. Not in my case. The bad news is as the rubber seal gets older it will be more noticeable as it whitens. I did find a post where someone showed you how to remove the rear quarter panel glass but I'm not risking a leak or a warranty issue for tint. The tint guy told me if it really bothers me he can use vinyl on the outside glass and match it to the tint. And lighter on your wallet. Just for kicks I got a quote on tires at Bjs warehouse for the S rims. Goodyears were about $100 out the door each and top of the line Michelin's were $154.00 each.
